Hello!
New here so just a big Hello first! So I've just got back from my first Couch to 5K run, my first attempt at running for over a year! Hopefully the first step to reversing my type 2 diabetes or at least coming of medication, and to bringing down my blood pressure.

I read posts on here all the time so wondered if someone in the know would try and help me. I’m 34 and been underactive for 12 years ish, at the point of being diagnosed

Marmite
Hi everyone, I have just learned a lot of interesting things about Marmite (yes Marmite!) and I thought I would pass it along. It seems that amongst other things it’s a good source of iron, selenium, magnesium , potassium and B vitamins, all essential for hypo people. I wish I liked it, I do not, but

Energy slump
My energy levels seem to work in mysterious ways. One day my body is full of beans, waking up ready to go, with energy in abundance. On other days – like today – I crawl out of bed feeling like someone hit me over the head with a hammer. I can literally feel it in my brain: there's a mist hanging over

Help!!
I was diagnosed with PMR and GCA in May. My Pred dose has not got below 20 since beginning of July. Just keeps flaring up! Am struggling with sleep, depression (GP said caused by high prolonged doses of steroids)and real anger issues, which is unlike me. I feel so lost and sad. Please tell me I’m not

Getting Ferritin up to a good level
My Ferritin has always been borderline and I am trying to get this up to a good level for when I next do a blood test in 6 weeks. I am currently taken 2 x floradix iron tablets a day one in morning and one at night along with vitamin c, d and b vitamins, magnesium. Would this do the job, my other levels
