Hi everyone, I have been taking 150mg of thyroxine for over 10 years. At the beginning of the year, I spoke to my doctor because my fatigue was increasing, I didn't feel like myself, and I was having heavy periods. I thought I was starting to become perimenopausal. The doctor said I was depressed

APS and leaky gut
Hello all, I am writing regarding my daughter who has APS. She has been taking rather large doses of Coumadin for about 20 years now. She eats a very healthy mostly vegetation and mostly organic diet. She has recently had a blood test that revealed a severe sensitivity to very many types of food.

Flare or hiccup or stress?
I have been on 7mg Pred since mid May (I had got down to 6mg but had to increase) and now seem unable to reduce any further. There are times I've felt good and thought now could be the time, but then something happens to increase the fatigue, the vision is not quite as clear (one eye is weaker than

test results on 2 and 3/4 Thyrogold
This is my latest blood test which is good and bad. Happy that my vitamin levels apart from D are good (no supplements for 6 weeks prior) but my levels for T3 and TSH are bad the worst I’ve had since taking NDT. Yes it was done in the afternoon (15.40) but I was of the opinion that it needs to be 8-12

Clonazepam
As I progress with my Doctors to try and calm my Tinnitus level down, I am currently on 0.5mg a day of Clonazepam. It seems to make me very drowsy when I get near tired and I when I do hit the bed for sleep, I am literally knocked out for 11-13hrs a day, which seems a lot, as often I can get up at 6-

When it’s someone you love!
My wife is currently on the long and winding road that will hopefully lead to us finding out whether she has Sjögrens or not. She’s ticked almost all of the boxes and had various tests and scans, seen Max-Fax, ENT and Rheumatology consultants and is just waiting for the dreaded lip biopsy now! One consultant

Heading for a relapse?
Having had a pretty textbook experience with PMR, pred and tapering to zero over a couple of years, I have enjoyed a return of energy levels and fitness over the next 2 years. However, I've felt quite fatigued for a few months. A blood test showed CRP 1 and no other obvious reasons for fatigue. The fatigue

Hi. Has anybody with Parkinson's had an issue with getting up in the night to pee and then doc has tested blood and found low levels of AD H which is anti diruetic hormone. I don't think it has anything to do with Parkinson's but family member may have low levels of this ( awaiting blood test to see

"treating PSA" vs "treating cancer" advice
Hi all, My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer over a year ago (history of his diagnosis is in my profile). When he was diagnosed he did triple therapy (docataxel, zoladex and nubeqa). He has now on zoladex injections (every 3 months) and nubeqa (darolutamide) tablets daily. Thankfully
