This is my latest blood test which is good and bad. Happy that my vitamin levels apart from D are good (no supplements for 6 weeks prior) but my levels for T3 and TSH are bad the worst I’ve had since taking NDT. Yes it was done in the afternoon (15.40) but I was of the opinion that it needs to be 8-12 hours after taking NDT. My question is do you think just a 1/4 dose increase will help or am I on another long road. I’ve been eating like a mouse to try and stay at a normal weight as I felt I could be under dosed as I’d gained weight for no reason. I’ve also been waking in the night more with panic attacks

Can you post the results as a reply to this comment? They are very feint and almost illegible as they are.
I’ll
You only need to stop the B complex for 4-7 days maximum. All other vitamins can be continued right up until the day before the test.
How much NDT are you taking?
How did you take the test? Time of day, last dose of NDT timing?
If you have an early morning blood test then you can delay your last dose of NDT the day before to allow 8-12hrs.
Suggest increasing NDT by 1/4 grain.
How much vit D are you taking & which brand? Its difficult to know how much extra you need as you stopped 6 weeks before. Possibly add in another 1,000iu.
I've just realised you've called Thyrogold NDT. Its really just a supplement with no declared content.
You might be better off on levo +T3?
So it’s got to say it’s a supplement so you can buy online. I haven taken vitamin D before but I will now. Taken at 1540pm when I took NDT at 6am
'So it’s got to say it’s a supplement so you can buy online. '
No, that is not the reason.
Not declaring the thyroid hormone content of a product means it can be sold as a supplement. But it also means that the manufacturers don't need to make sure it contains a specified consistent hormone content. So you cannot be sure if each pill or capsule contains the same amount (if any) of thyroid hormone.
Not declaring that it contains thyroid hormones also means it doesn't need to go through expensive FDA or MHRA approval. Nor does it need a prescription from a qualified medical professional.
Shaws knows about this brand as it was first created by Dr Lowe before he passed away and then his wife Tammy carried on with the company
You really don't know how much of anything you're getting with Thyrogold. Suggest you switch to something that you know what you're getting.
Cheapest and most reliable option would be Levo+ T3. Try Roseway Pharmacies prescribing service.
Vitamin D should be around 100 - 150. Buy one that includes vit K2 to help it go to your bones. Some are available in oil or you can take it with an oily meal for better absorption. Many members like the ‘Better You’ range of mouth sprays that contain both bit D & K2. Use this calculator to work out how much to take to get your level to 100-150.grassrootshealth.net/projec...
I buy Thyrogold and have been well on it for 4 years only just paid £200 for a batch don’t want to go on synthetic as I’ve been using NDT for years now
