Hi, I’m hoping to increase my Levothyroxine dose ( my GP won’t and can’t be doing with trying to convince them).
My question is will Roseway Labs be able to or do they need agreement by my GP? Do I need to show them my latest blood test to have an increase? And do I need to make an appointment with them online? Just looking for more information on how they work with patients.
I have currently been prescribed 75mcg but I increase this myself by using more of this medication to increase it to 112 mcgs but would like to increase this due to still having symptoms.

I dont think Roseway prescribe or have anything to do with Levo. They offer thyroid treatments like T3 and NDT. You could start a seperate post asking for reputable sources of Levothyroxine and for people to PM you. I dont think self sourcing Levo is difficult or expensive.
Their website says "thyroid medication" and I would automatically assume that included levothyroxine.
Our prescription service is designed to help you access the medication you need for your diagnosed condition. Our Independent Pharmacist Prescriber is able to prescribe thyroid medication, naltrexone, hair loss preparations as well as medications to resolve gut issues and restore general health.
I cant say for certain but I use Roseway for non thyroid related stuff and did read their website quite thoroughly. I didnt see Levo being offered but by all means phone or email Roseway and ask. It cant hurt 😄
Their website says that they prescribe Levothyroxine:
Thyroid medication
“LICENSED LEVOTHYROXINE (T4) and liothyronine (T3) are readily available and come in specific strengths. Occasionally, it is important for a patient to combine these drugs into one medication or receive a non-standard strength. Compounding can offer a solution to these needs.
Roseway Labs supplies a broad range of licensed and imported thyroid medication alongside its compounded offering. Natural desiccated thyroid (NDT) is available as an imported or compounded product.” rosewaylabs.com/specialisms...
And
How it works
“A 10-minute telephone or video consultation with our prescriber will help us to understand your needs, your medical history and identify any risk factors. Supporting documentation, such as YOUR DIAGNOSIS, BLOOD OR OTHER DIAGNOSTIC TEST RESULTS and PREVIOUS PRESCRIPTIONS MUST BE PROVIDED.
If required and appropriate, a prescription will be written and given to Roseway Labs to fulfil. Full instructions will be provided to you once your appointment is confirmed along with a consultation form, which must be completed and returned before your appointment.”
Bright-eyes, I suspect the main problem would be that Roseway cannot just 'top-up' what you're already prescribed by your GP. So you wouldn't be able to continue with your cost free NHS prescribed levo, and just get extra levo privately prescribed through Roseway.
I had to read all the previous comments, hoping someone would have said something about just self-diagnosing, but nobody said anything about simply increasing the amount of a medication just because you think it will help you feel better. But what if it’s something else causing you to feel like doodoo-caacaa, and the increased amount of medication only makes matters worse? Please get some lab work done, as described on this site. Then report back in with results and perhaps you can start figuring things out from there. Good luck!
I get my T4-only from roseway by making an appointment with their prescriber, and I need recent bloods at the appointment which I do via medichecks. But all the other comments are relevant too!
They do their own compounded T4 and a very few other brands so be aware of that.
