Good morning!I am 42 years old , and mother of 2. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto thyroiditis, in 2019, between two pregnancies.

I change my life style, gluten free diet (paleo), exercise ... And feel better but improvable.

So that I decide to try Metavive, I switched gradually in the last 3 months.

I am on 2x Metavive II (2 weeks). And feeling really good!!But sometimes I feel palpitations.

I am suplementing with B complex, magnesium and selenium and D vitamin.

Are they OK? Im rechecking in a month, ask to test feritin, selenium, mg, vitamin D...

I've been cheking my basal temperature and blood pressure in the last two months, both normal. (36,7°C and 110/75).

Hello, your results look ok. Your TSH is low. Below range but there is T3 in Metavive so that would bring your TSH down. Another test some time soon would be good to see how you are. If possible, ask for T3 to be included. Hopefully you’re taking the supplements recommended here which will help you.

Thank you so much!!Do you know if there is any cardiovascular risk in taking T3?

I believe not. I took T3 only for many years as it suited me better without any heart problems. Low levels of thyroid hormones can cause palpitations. High levels of T4 are known to have medical risks but there are no deaths ever recorded in the UK from high T3. In fact, cardiologists use T3 in certain situations.

There is often medical confusion between the problems caused by hyperthyroidism, over production of T3 & taking T3 medication but keeping within the natural range. TSH drops out of range but that is not a problem. It shows that the body is receiving all the T3 it needs.

You’re only taking a small dose of T3 in Metavive, mostly it provides T4. Just keep testing.

Thank you very much for the information, I feel calmer. It is very enriching to read other people's experiences. In Spain T3 is not prescribed and there is no combined treatment protocol. Endocrinologists are not up to date and there is very little information about thyroid desease.

I suggest you look at what your FT3 is doing in case it’s a tad high because that level of FT4 on only 2x Met ll is pretty good
