7 years with this bladder cancer

After having bladder cancer for 7years numerous turbt operations each time having chemo this last bout consultants going to put me on bcg treatment

Hi Andy how’s it going? Have you had the latest op? Hope you’re as well as can be expected. I’m on a similar path also had many turbts and last check up on Wednesday revealed new bumps to remove. Going for my 10th turbt 6 July. Will ask for BCG following up have been on Mitomycin till now.

Thanks hope your well . I'm back on 3 monthly check ups again my cancer nurse is brill

had BC 8 yrs back- 2 surgeries and countless bcg infusions- bcg is the gold standard- not too easy holding it for 2 hours- most difficult part is the not knowing- whole procedure takes about 2 minutes- piece of cake

I found it hard to keep in, the secret its drink NOTHING for 5 hours prior to it, and drink a lot of cool liquid 10-15 mins before release time
