Back in hospital with fast atrial flutter.
I’m in my local hospital with atrial flutter (and some good old AF) at about 150 bpm (following a bypass about a week ago). This seems to switch on when I sit up in bed or get out of bed. Blood pressure is low at 94/59. It’s too dangerous to cardiovert at the moment. They’ve increased the Bisoprolol

bisoprolol
would 3/4 of a 1.25mg bisoprolol do anything. 1 tablet makes me lightheaded. I’ve been taking 3/4 at night but my cardiologist doesn’t think that’s doing anything so said take 1/2 twice a day. He said it wouldn’t make me lightheaded but it has.

0ne year on from AF ablation.
Positive changes since my ablation in Dec 2021: my AF episodes and panic attacks have become less intense. My heart rate never goes beyond 120 BPM during an AF episode now, and the longest episode I've had has been about 90 seconds. My panic attacks have probably become less severe due to Bisoprolol,

newbie diagnosed with ectopic beats, but also paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
Had slow heart beat for 5 days with slight flutterings. Thought it was my Afib starting again. Had ecg at drs yesterday and was told it was ectopic beats. I’m not taking any medication , was on 2.5mg Bisoprolol as pill in pocket, but advised to stop it. It’s horrible, I have them all day,not sure why

Chest Pains following ablation
Just after some advice - again from all my virtual friends. I’m 3 weeks tomorrow following 3rd ablation. Don’t know if you recall my complications of asthma, swollen throat and then food & meds getting stuck and fluids going into lungs making me choke! Well that’s all ok now but, blood pressure rose

Ectopic Beats and Afib recurrence
Hi All, I am now more than 6 months out of the ablation and the 3 months follow up was okay. I am on bisoprolol. Lately, I started feeling many ectopics and as of last 3-4 days they seem to be with me all the time. Two weeks ago, I went to an ER following a sleepless night of anxiety (ECG no Afib and

I’ve had permanent AF for a year. On 1.5mg Bisoprolol , 10mg Amlodipine, 20mg Rivaroxiban. 20mgAtorvastatin l. My resting heart rate stays between 70 and 100 and 120 walking measured on Iwatch and BP machine. I would like to help keep my heart rate low and wondered what is the best food

Newbie looking for info
Hi got irregular heartbeat and about 8 weeks ago was put on bisoprolol and rivaroxaban. Palpitations settled down and I felt a lot better. Went back to see consultant who said my blood pressure was still a bit high and put me on ramipril. This started the palpitations again so GP changed me to candestartan.Still

Bisoprolol for palpitations
Hello, I've just been prescribed Bisoprolol 1.25 mg for irregular heart beat, to take one tablet if required. My cardiologist said it's a very low dose so it's safe. But when I read the information leaflet, it lists so many side effects that it really put me off taking it. My blood pressure is normal

folic acid
I have just had blood test results and they are all over the place. Haven’t had chance to talk to GP yet as weekend, but I know one of them is extremely low folic acid I looked up Google and it said that folic acid deficiency could lead to chronic anaemia and causes lack of red blood cells My question
