I might have breast cancer...waiting on biopsy results
They scheduled me for a needle
biopsy
the very next day. I've had the
biopsy
. Now I wait. My results appointment is Monday afternoon. The solid mass is 14 mm or 1.4 cm. I can't feel it myself. I feel perfectly fine. Well, besides the recent nerves. The first night, I couldn't eat or sleep.

Granulomatous Hepatitis
My
biopsy
showed I have have granulomatous hepatitis with stage 3-4 fibrosis and moderate fatty liver. They don't know what the granulomas are from. Trying to figure out if losing weight will even help me as I don't know if the granulomas are causing the fibrosis.

Muscular Biopsy Does It Hurt?
After finally getting to see a neurologists in December last year, I have been told that I must have biopsies, but with little information about what this entails. So I thought it may be useful to know before actually going into hospital

I’m so confused
They took a
biopsy
of something but the results were nothing of an issue. For months afterwards I was completely fine, but then fast forward around Nov 2022 I had a severe job change and extreme stress resulted from the change.

Do you really have cirrhosis?
I would like to know if anyone has had a
biopsy
that changed? or is this just fibroscan results. Or even an mri that changed? Thanks

Just Diagnosed
I’m told they will do a diagnostic procedure called a fusion
biopsy
. It’s an MRI guided
biopsy
that allows the Dr. to see where there are suspicious areas and take biopsies from those areas.

No BT for those with Urinary Issues?
Although I am only a G3+3 with a single core presence, I sport a PSA of 13 and am on active surveillance at least until my next
biopsy
and mpMRI. I'm 75.

HU and prefibrotic myelofibrosis
After bone marrow aspiration and
biopsy
, diagnosis changed to prefibrotic myelofibrosis. HU had brought platelets down to 270 but I suffered from bad side effects. Dr didn’t want to change med or dosage. I resisted He finally agreed to 3x a week.

Since then, a liver
biopsy
confirmed cirrhosis, most likely due to autoimmune condition. https://healthunlocked.com/britishlivertrust/posts/147216614/liver-cirrhosis-diagnosis Unfortunately, my condition has slowly been getting worse.

Some Good News
Secondary question,
Biopsy
was 15 cores and found nothing left side. PSMA seemed to detect something on left side. I know
biopsy
can miss things, but MRI showed nothing on left side as well. Is that common? Thanks!

HELP!
I’m awaiting
biopsy
results too after a hysteroscopy and can’t help but wonder if there is something sinister as my lining is still abnormally thick even after my period I just feel like giving up, if this is how the rest of my life is going to be then I don’t want to be here anymore!

Effect of low endogenous testosterone
Biopsy
showed 1 sample was Gleason 8. Starting ADT and radiation soon. Have had low testosterone (<150 ng/ml) most of my life. Non-existent libido, depression and tired most of the time. Recent studies have shown that aggressive prostate cancer more common in people with low testosterone.

hope this helps others
He called me in for a
biopsy
. While on the table he was looking at my chart and said I don’t even know why you are here, I just did a sonogram 3 months ago. He continues with the
biopsy
. Next day my urologist calls me at work and tells me I have prostate cancer.

Will greatly appreciate your perspectives
Biopsy
GL 4+3, PNI, lesion contained, mid-gland. Urologist and Radiation Oncologist both agreed RP was the best choice for me. I asked for PSMA -- they both said it wasn't necessary -- that the lesion was very contained, small, and 95% certain scan would show nothing.

biopsy interpretation re fragmented cores
Not sure if anyone here can help me understand the biospy report that triggered a fast move to RT & 2 years HT. I still can’t quite understand how accurate/informative a biospy of Gleason 9 (4+5) and negative PSMA. It follows two previous 12 months and 24 months prior showing T2a stable Gleason 3+4

Well I didn't expect that.
Anyway I now eagerly wait for a scan,
biopsy
and kemo/radio and vomiting. What a way to celebrate my second anniversary. Time for a visit to the very greasy spoon for deep fried colesteral and lard.😂😉

When is it time?
So, I was on watch and wait again from Nov 2022 till May 4,2023 when we did another marrow
biopsy
. Infiltration now 85-90%. WBC 27.1( from 3.6 in November). Platelets 81. Hemoglobin- 9.3 and my lymph nodes are much larger. ANC only recovered to 1.3 in 6 months.

Update and advice needed!!
However, they are now requesting tumour markers for the pancreas and liver along with a
biopsy
of the peritoneal mass. The Consultant stated that he only dealt with facts and would review my mum with all the results in a couple of weeks.
