I am currently designated as T2 ,PIRAD 4 I am waiting for a
biopsy

The doctor never said get bone marrow
biopsy
or I won't see you. We thought it was optional, so now we have to wait for that. On her birthday 🎂 is a consult for something else.. She first need endoscopy also before oncologist does anything. It's frustrating.

Fatigue, Headaches, Fevers, Numbness Without Obvious Cause?
The doc was suspicious of either a third malignancy or Richter, so he ordered a bone marrow
biopsy
and a CT-PET, all of which showed nothing concerning. We will be at MDA again on January 25 for another round of labs. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Should Perineural Invasion (PNI) change my Radiation Treatment Plan
Duke did a 2nd opinion on Inova Pathology report from November
biopsy
(Should have done this earlier from Johns Hopkins). Duke pathology report was almost identical with the exception of downgraded one core from 3+4=7 to 3+3=6. BUT, added Perineural Invasion (PNI) to 1 of the 3+4=7 cores.

Biopsy gone wrong
I wrote about a second
biopsy
required. This one was MRI directed. I was informed by Tall Allen that there was perennial
biopsy
that had less side effect and less risk. I asked my urologist about this. He said that recent studies show they both have about the same risk of infection.

Microscopic colitis associated with RA
A
biopsy
is needed to confirm MC and then the treatment of steroids. You may wonder why I'm telling you this but there are surely some of you with RA associated MC or going through various tests if you are having bowel problems.

Thick lining
I have had a
biopsy
and there is no concern there. The Drs keep pacifying me and not coming up with a plan to reduce my lining which is any different to previous failed attempts such as nortisterone.

Finance in UK vs fitting treatment abroad around work? 🤷🏻♀️
I’m currently waiting for 2nd
biopsy
results from the Tommy’s clinic in Warwick to know what treatment they might recommend for my “robost womb” (charming!) to then be ready to go go go! I have logged into my Gaia account today to check that’s all ready and….i’m no longer accepted.

Bloodwork is stable, watchful waiting, stage 1(ish).What's the chance that the bone marrow biopsy will show anything different or additional?
Memorial Sloan Kettering Dr says we can do a bone marrow
biopsy
and some mutation/genetic testing? Am I wasting my time? Or should I do it to get more peace of mind?

Gynecology appointment update
I have to go for a hysteroscopy the doctor thinks the thickening in my womb is lack of hormone or was due to the HRT I was taking previously, she also may do a
biopsy
to make sure all is fine. She has prescribed me vagifem 10mg to be inserted into my vagina.

Newly diagnosed Myelofibrosis Stage 2
In May this year I had a bone marrow
biopsy
and it was discovered my ET has progressed to Stage 2 Myelofibrosis. I was put on Ruxolitinib which works well for me and is definitely a much better drug than Hydroxycarbamide.

Final Path Report After RALP (Dad - 74, G7- 4+3) , what’s next ?
Could it have advanced that quickly or was it just not picked up during the MRI /
Biopsy
. With the above should we be considering waiting on the PSA results or proactively consider ADT + Radiation as an option.
