New to all of this

I have lived with fatty liver for several years now. I would have pain in my right side often and asked my doctor about it and they told me it 2as probably just gas, so I lived with it till about 4 months ago and the pain got way worse and I gained weight and my belly swelled up. I had no energy and wanted to sleep all the time.Finally after talking to my doctor about these symptoms they stared running these.

I have had

Ultrasound

CT Scan

Another CT Scan

And now going g to have a Ultrasound with biopsy

Just waiting for the last test to be set up and hope they find the answers.

Good luck! It isn't necessarily cirrhosis, don't panic early, just do the tests and listen to your docs. And even if it is cirrhosis, please realize that does not mean you have been given a death sentence. I will be rooting for you, good luck!

At least your doctors are looking around. Mine seem to ignore my symptoms or claim it to be from something else and Brush them off. Best of luck to you.

It’s so hard waiting for tests and results. Did anything show up on the scans you’ve already had done? What about bloodwork? I hope everything comes back normal and you can relax. Keep us posted.
