new diagnosis
I have a
biopsy
on the 3rd and should have a treatment plan by the 11th. I feel fine my cough has gone and I am going in the gym. Wheezing also has gone. I’m in shock I think they are doing a
biopsy
on my chest lymph nodes as think there may be a spread.

Amitriptyline titration
I was recently diagnosed with "possible IBS" as
biopsy
excluded Coeliac. I have been put on a low FODMAP diet and I am trying to follow the guidelines to the best of my ability. I have also been asked to up Amitriptyline, (which I was already on because I also have MS, lucky me!)

Concern 4:
Biopsy
Gleason score understated/understaged/undergraded given that it seems this occurs in 20 to 30% with Gleason 6. One study showed a 35.5% upgrade of
biopsy
Gleason scores when analyzed after histology from prostatectomy. In the group of Gleason 6 or less, there was 55% upgrading.

PSMA Pet Scan results
Have had MRI,
biopsy
and just completed PSMA Pet Scan. I see my doctor next week. I received the results and surprised to show some uptake in a lymph node.

Bone marrow biopsy results.
Today I received the news I was expecting. My PV has progressed to MF. Although the signs have been building up in my blood results for some time, I am nevertheless devastated to have it confirmed. 3 weeks ago my hb was 99 today it was 92 My consultant told me it wouldn't hurt to continue with the iron

biopsy report, still waiting to see consultant.
hi all, had an email with the below conclusion of my
biopsy
, I have a very minuscule left lobe which they want to
biopsy
but were unable to due to the size. So the right lobe was biopsied.

Actinic Keratosis
Good morning from the US of A, Yesterday I received notification from a scalp
biopsy
I had done last week that the sore on the top of my head is Actinic Keratosis. In researching it I found it is due to ultra violet ray exposure and it is pre cancerous.

Hello friends, what do you know about Liquid
biopsy
of circulating tumor ctDNA? Is it usefull with 6.2 PSA ? Depending on the results do we get access to some novel drugs like olapariv or nivolumab, etc, that might help us ? 🫠thanks, Manilo.

reaction to rituximab
The drugs stabilised it and they slowly started to clear so by the time the urgent dermatology appointment came through they couldn’t do a
biopsy
. Now my finger and toe nails are lifting and coming off and I’ve been told by the professionals there is nothing I can do to stop this!

PSA after Biopsy
I've heard that the
biopsy
procedure (14 cores) can elevate future PSA results. What is the recommended number of days or weeks to pass before scheduling a follow up PSA test? Thank you!

When to Commence ADT and/or Androgen Blocking Therapy?
I had a follow-up exam and
biopsy
and I was diagnosed (Gleason 4+4 = 8). I elected an aggressive treatment path - RALP followed by adjuvant radiation therapy given my high risk surgical pathology: pT3aN0MxR1, Gleason 4+4 (tert 5)=8, positive margin, extra-prostatic extension.

Coventry clinic - 2nd results due - what to ask? Expect?
Then within an hour or two, received another email, saying my virtual appt with Professor Brosens is this Tuesday, just under 3 weeks since the
biopsy
. Of course now trying to tell myself that’s expedited as I chased and not because of bad news….

Immunohistochemical staining for hMLH1, hMSH2, hMSH6 and PMS2 was performed on archival prostate
