Question For Hunter
I had my second bone marrow
biopsy
today, hoping to get a specific diagnosis of which MPN I have. I saw a hematologist first, then a second one for a 2nd opinion. They both diagnosed me with ET Jak2.

PSA after one month on lupron
Biopsy
and MRI showed all 12 cores malignant with "likelihood of extra-capsular extension". PSMA PET scan showed no mets as of December 15. I began treatment on February 26 with a week of Casodex followed by a Lupron injection on March 4.

Thoughts and suggestions please
Standard 12 core
biopsy
would have completely missed the cancer. Low dose TRT for two years beginning nine months after surgery due to low T symptoms which later were determined to be due to intolerance to high dose statin. December 2018 uPSA first became detectable at 0.015.

Newly diagnosed researching lifestyle changes
My personal option is radiation such as IMRT or Cyberknife, however I have not made any appointments with any Doctors yet for a targeted
biopsy
to get Gleason score, I am grateful to have found lot's of good Youtube videos and articles.

Great news from my MDAnderson doctor
Ferrajoli ordered a Bone Marrow
Biopsy
as my PB had gotten down to 0.007 in February, 2024. She called me last week and said the test showed no CLL cells and she was taking me off both drugs! I’m in remission!!!!

Besremi
When I had a bone marrow
biopsy
it was pretty much normal so I was then said to be MPN-U. I am presently on HU 500mg every other day. My hematocrit & hemoglobin are now on the low side of normal. There had been discussion of me going on besremi when I was thought to be PV.

Introduction and asking for help interpreting latest scan results and thoughts on future treatment plan please.
My overall history: After slowly rising PSA scores to a relatively low peak of 6.1 at 59 years old,

Does Besremi cause high blood sugar?
The thing is, I had a BMB this week, since my MPN specialist wanted to have a baseline, and prior to the
biopsy
had some blood tests at the hospital. I got some of the results today and was shocked to see my Fasting Glucose level jumped from 83 prior to starting Besremi, to 121.

To Trial or not to Trial?
They put me out completely for the
biopsy
which was so nice and the contrast CT I didn’t have to drink that barium. Anyway, fingers crossed no surprises and/or complications! And I can get started and carry on!

Did anyone have immune test to identify why embryos do not stick? How did it work? any benefits?
Only blood tests or is it done by collecting sample tissues for
biopsy
? Did you have any benefit of having immune test? Do you have any clinic that you can recommend me?

uMRD 6
I just learned from my oncologist that I can’t get the UMRD6 test because we had no bone marrow
biopsy
done before treatment. Questions one 1. Is this true 2. What is the most sensitive MRD Testing I can get at this point and where do I have to go to get it.

More worry
😟 Report from recent endoscopy appeared to be all good, however there was a "possible" Barretts Tongue seen and so
biopsy
has been taken to rule Barretts out.
