Chronic Heart Disease definition - Self Isolation
I just listened to the latest Government Covid-19 update. I’m concerned about the prospect of self isolation for those who have chronic heart disease. Is there a definition somewhere ? I have stents and the normal raft of statins and meds but Below the 70 age group

Hi, first post but have been a member since early January. I'll start with a little history. At the start of November last year, I started feeling a tingling sensation and numbness in my left arm which would last for no more than a couple of minutes. This happened about 12 times in a week. I saw my doctor

High risk?
Am I classed in the high risk category? I have 50/60 blocked LAD, on statins, blood pressure tabs & aspirin. Not sure if classed as high risk, no breathing or lung problems. Does anyone know?

Statins and CLL.
I am new to this forum. I Was diagnosed early Jan 2020 with CLL stage A, watch and wait. Next blood test April. I feel anxious and depressed about the whole situation and can't accept it as real but I suppose I will eventually. I am now aware of every twinge and pain I get and think that it's cancer

Confused
Hi everyone, I had a HA jan 30th this yr so it’s all very new to me. I feel well recovered from the attack but have been having problems with my meds. I had some problems with my legs, feeling very heavy and like I’m dragging my legs through water it got to the stage where I was stopping every few minutes

Heart med side affects
I’m currently, with my GP, experimenting with statins. Was on Atorvastatin 40mg for 3 years but wondered if I couldn’t feel better day to day. Symptoms were, muscle aches and pains and odd days of chronic fatigue. After stopping the med for 1 month I felt better than I had for a long time. Then switched

Stent needed?
Hi. I've just had a call from my Cardiologist. She asked how I was and said that my ct scan showed some narrowing of arteries but wasn't the worst she'd ever seen. However she wants to investigate further and wants me to have an Angiography. She also said I've to start statins and to speak to gp in

COULD FATIGUE BE CAUSED BY ATORAVASTATIN
A couple of days after I started Atorvastatin 20mg just over two weeks ago I was so heavy tired I couldn't go to church or a walk with my daughter. I have busy Fridays. Again this Saturday completely wiped out and did nothing and missed a quiz night which I really enjoy. I don't want to give up my Friday

Hi all, I am new to the forum after doing a little research following some blood tests. I have been suffering a range of complaints which had been put down to mild anaemia and just life generally. Cholbiomex3
Has anybody taken Cholbiomex3 to reduce their cholesterol? It contains a probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum, Vitamin B3 (nicotinamide) and red yeast rice rich in monacolin K. The reviews read very good although some folk had the same reactions as they did from statins due to the addition of monacolin
