Had stents in 2018 and 2019, first time through my groin which unfortunately damaged a nerve in my groin, second time through wrist with angio and stents, felt ok until a few months ago when we found out my younger brother had terminal cancer, he died two weeks ago after a very brave fight.

I am at the moment experiencing leg aches mainly thigh, even at rest, shortness of breath, weakness in legs and massive amounts of fatigue, i might point out that after both lots of stents i went back to work and even though i was totally drained at the end of the day i could function ok.

I have been prescribed,

clopidogrel.

bisoprolol.

aspirin.

statins.

amlopidine.

ramapril.

all exept the statins in relatively small doses, i also take burdock root for my circulation, turmeric, bitter cherry for my gout, and a spoon of extra virgin olive oil, i still feel tired and achy .

All advice greatfully appreciated.

Bassman2018, I am so sorry for the sudden passing of your younger brother.

Because we are not doctors, we cannot comment on the reason you are feeling

so tired and achy. Because of your history with heart disease and numerous

medications, it would be best calling your doctor. I do wish you well. :) xx

Hi Bassman,

So sorry for your loss.

The stress may be contributing but I would definitely see your GP and request a full blood count.

Particularly as you are on a high dose statin (80mg I'm guessing?) Occasionally will can lose tolerance to a statin and it impaires liver function and can effect the body in all the ways you mention.

Just worth ruling out.

My dad took about a year to feel well after his.

All the best.x
