Fed up
Hi So I've suffered with IBS for years; so many other things link to it though, that I often don't know what's going on. More recently, in addition to the IBS, I have been diagnosed with Gallstones. It's strange as the symptoms I have are diarrhea, acute pain etc etc.. sound familiar? I eat a healthy

Hi group. I just joined. I would like to know if either of the above ever go away. I need heart surgery but can't get it unless this is gone. Any ideas?

Fenofibrate?
Hi- it's been a while since I've posted but hoping you can help. I have to see my consultant in 2 weeks and want to be prepared. He has twice put me on fenofibrate( I came off the 1st time shortly after starting with my gp's approval) because my lft readings remain high. This would suggest urso not

I'm New Here, Needing Help Reading A Biopsy
Hello all, I'm 61 yrs old and I've had AIH for 30 yrs. I was doing well until 2 months ago I had slightly elevated AST 66 and ALT 77 also ALP 130. I had an Ultrasound an MRI (I was told I have Cirrhosis) an Endoscopy (which found no varices) and finally a Biopsy. I can't get in to see my Dr. for 18 more

Still struggling..!
7 years after a gastric bypass operation I'm still overweight, I never really had the feeling of fullness after the op and 4 weeks after surgery I could drink a pint of water when apparently my stomach pouch should of only been able to hold 30mls, how does that work, I tried telling my surgeon this but

Gallstones
I have had gallstone symptoms every few days for the past 6 weeks. The attacks of pain last for up to 5 hours and leave me drained. I also vomit sometimes. The pain is in the centre beneath my breasts and radiates to my shoulders and upper abdomen. It causes me to shiver. The GP initially thought I

I have heard gallbladder bile duct issues can be cause from b12. Is this true
I had an ultrasound as precation and it found my bile duct needs a stent put in. They believe it's due to passing so many kidney stones and I no longer have a gallbladder to to stones and a bad infection....isn't that all stuff related to b12? I am havi,g a scope done next week as well to look and put

Liver flush, anyone?
Hi, all: In a recent health webinar it was mentioned that liver flush can flush out liver/gall stones naturally. It says we need to clean the gall stones even if our gallbladder is removed because the stones are formed in the liver and it can get stuck in the bile duct. (See doctor Hulda Clark website

dilated bile duct
Does anyone have dilated bile duct? Mine is 8 mm on the MRCP report. I wonder how bad this means. Does Urso keep it under control? --Jane

MITOCHONDRIAL AB, M2 ELEVATED
Hi, I am a 51 year old male and for the second time my Mitochondrial AB, M2 score has been elevated - both times around 30. The test report says: "Positive >24.9 and Mitochondrial (M2) Antibodies are found in 90-96% of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis." I have no symptoms and every other test
