Are you taking Urso, and are your lfts always normal? If so, how/why were you diagnosed with PBC?

But, good that the removal has helped the pain. I haven't had anything like that, but I'm so pleased it has helped the pain. Take care and spoil yourself, have fun once you feel fully fit.

Is your question about the pain? Sorry if I can't follow brain fog sometimes, I do have pain in my upper right area where the liver sits.

Please complain of the pain and exaggerate if you must to ask for an ultrasound. This pain could be an indicator of nodules and if caught in time you could prevent cirrhosis. God be with you.

Hello, I was diagnosed in 2012, but had my gallbladder removed when I was 19 yrs old. I've always had some sort of digestive issues my entire adult life. Im now 43 & feel that this has always been my problem (PBC). This disease just wasn't known in my younger days so no one truly knew how to diagnose me. That's how I feel anyways, knowing what I know now all of my symptoms have always pointed to PBC. Im at stage 4 with cirrhosis & small varicies. I too have URQ pain. My heptologist explained it as the surrounding area of my liver that is in pain due to inflammation. I sometimes can tell a difference in the pain when I eat something that is difficult to digest for those of us with compromised livers. My liver & my spleen are both enlarged. My spleen being the same in size as my liver. I manage from day to day with some days being worse than others. I've learned to take advantage of those days that I feel normal, or as close to normal as we can. I try to not allow this disease to define me or control my life. It's difficult, but what else can we do but live our life as best as we can.

Stay strong❣️

Shannon
