Anyone else experience a flare up after bereavement?
Hi, my Dad died last week, I nursed him through final stage of his illness so it was all very stressful. During that time my bowel symptoms flared up and i basically couldn't go to the loo for days. Today I'm in a lot of endo pain in my lower abdomen for first time in a while. Has anyone else experienced

constant worries keep me awake at night...........
I read advice about not making any drastic decisions during
bereavement
but i just felt like the anxiety was getting worse as i was dreading to make these decisions anyway.

Anxiety/Insomnia - A beginner... Help please.
I really believe, having a good analytical grasp on the causes of my attack - work stress and recent family
bereavement
- that I can manage this long-term, using conventional methods - exercise, healthier lifestyle choices and less stress at work (the irony is that I'd already hired a colleague to job-share

Is Fibromyalgia a permanent & substantial disabilty?
I believe I've had Fibromyalgia all my life (traumatic birth) but it has only become apparent and worse with time (if you don't know any different than to you its normal to have muscle aches and pains daily - but apparently healthy individuals bodies don't), daily stresses of life,
bereavement
etc etc

I wonder what else life can throw at me..
Step daughter goes worse, start family counselling, doesn't work,
bereavement
counselling doesn't work, she starts self harming, suicide attempts, drinking,, having sex at 13!!! We have a pregnancy scare, she wants to keep the baby! False alarm, phew.. I decide to call in the experts again.

Different sympathetic GP!
My Mum then passed away suddenly in June and then a further sudden
bereavement
with my Aunt dying weeks later. The GP then said of course I am depressed and will have many symptoms; 'your Mum has just died what do you expect'.

What an awful tragedy!
There are a great many who endure illness, poverty,
bereavement
, homelessness and cruelty, yet there is no hand of friendship waiting to cheer them. Many's the perfectly decent person who will 'pass by on the other side'.

I feel like a lost cause
When she died I was okish for the first year I had some
bereavement
counselling and I was focused on sorting out her finances as I was executor in her will. Once that was done I fell apart.

Persistent cough
Can anyone tell me whether it is likely to be stress due to my
bereavement
? I did mention to the doctor that I am stressed but he wasn't interested.

Depression/Bereavement help... what is this?
Recently I have been feeling extremely low and sad almost constantly, I have good and bad days but mainly bad. I lost my mum to cancer in 2006 and at the time I didn't really grieve or even accept the situation - I was 10 - but recently I have felt very affected by the loss, and just feel generally depressed

There is bereavement counselling for those who grief after losing someone.
But what about those who have lost the use of their own body abilities? Or the loss of a limb, sight, hearing, etc. Especially in the beginning one grieves over this. Wouldn't it be supportive to be able to voice this grief without always having to be upbeat? Or is this just rubbish?

Am I depressed or just feeling sorry for myself?
In the late 1990s I had a series of life events that involved
bereavement
, business & financial and marital issues which ended up with me taking Prozac for a few months whilst I got my act back together.

Is there a common pattern to this quitting journey?
, but wonder if there's a recognisable pattern, stages to go through, like with
bereavement
. It might help me to be ready for them. I've been laid up with a bad back, so maybe it's just lack of being able to keep busy and diverted enough.

My blog
Grieving for my lost self is like a
bereavement
as is losing my memories. When I am depressed, which luckily only occurs occasionally, I find it very difficult to handle - I want to rise above it, but fail miserably.

My mums story so far
Like many others have already described PSP as the living
bereavement
because the disease strips the suffer of independence and dignity. It leaves the family and carers with life deprivation, stress, anxiety, responsibility, guilt and heartbreak.
