Wife seeking input regarding RT
I've been reading posts for several months and have learned a great deal. Thank you all! This is my first post so forgive me if I ramble a bit. Hubby is 78 and healthy (had stroke 4 years ago, fully recovered). He was diagnosed with Pca a year ago. PSA 10.2, TRUS biopsy showed three 3+4 lesions (2

thin skin?
Hi my brothers in ADT - I'm 10 months in to a 2-year stint (so far) on Eligard and abiraterone + prednisone. Lately I find that my skin seems to tear and bleed very easily -- scraping against something that wouldn't even have broken the skin in the past ends up with a skin tear, or at best bleeding

Feeling awful again
Hi, this tale has been told many times before. Last week I went to see my Endo and asked to raise by T3 from 10mcg to 15 mcg because I was crashing in the evenings. I was feeling good and healthy throughout the daytime on a dose of 125mcg Levo and 10 mcg Lio, both taken in the morning. But by

Pain in the bottom after HDBT + EBRT
For those of you who elected HDBT + EBRT + ADT as your primary treatment, did you experience any pain in you butt cheeks months after your treatment? It has been 6 months since I finished my EBRT, which or course, followed my HDBT. Lately, I have been experiencing discomfort in my butt cheeks. It is

Hashimotos double vision
Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone else here has experienced double vision with Hashimoto's ? I have been feeling tired, heavy, low mood, brain fog, memory problems etc. I went to my optician for a routine check up 3 weeks ago and the letters on the chart were swimming around in a way I'd never

Has Anyone had an Experience With T2 Supplements
Could this be my missing link, as I have all the symptoms listed below? Or is it just marketing hype? I am looking for advice from my more knowledgeable friends on here! I had never considered this before, had you? It's a long post, as I've added most of what they say on their website about it! It's

NCCN Blasphemy?
I found this interesting conversation on a doc/med-student blog, did not save the website, but can dig it out if anyone wants to take a look. I had always wondered about the "% cores positive". Especially when there is a mix of grades, GG1 and GG2. Also, as Doc 2 mentions, the % of positive cores can

As most of you can relate to, I have given up so much in my life due to RLS. Every possible RLS trigger is in fact a trigger for me. How long should I continue with bicalutamide after radiotherapy?
I just completed 40 external beam IMRT treatments two weeks ago. I was Gleason 3 +4, negative bone and CT scans, and although my Decipher score was a disappointing 68, it forecast that with radiotherapy I have a 9% chance of metastasis in 10 years and a 12% chance of mortality in 15 years. Now age

Hi All, Had pros. cancer in 2014 which was knocked out with guided radiation. Now, 9 years later my PSA went from .4 to .9 in 12 months. PSMA Scan shows a 5mm spot on a small pelvic node. No MRI or CT would have found this! Dr's. starting me on Org., 28 days of Radiation and Abi. The whole hormone

Lactose intolerance? Perimenopause?
Right, So since starting on levo in June 2020 I STILL haven't found a stable dose. I've had an adjustment in doses/meds almost every 12 weeks. Which is a concern. 2 weeks ago my new endo has switched me from 50mcg levo/10mcg T3/60mg NDT to 125mcg levo and 20mcg T3. I've had panic attacks 2 days in

Tip about antihistamines
I looked it up and antihistamines (Zyrtec, Claritin, Benadryl, et al) can lead to weight gain. Both water retention and fat. How so fat? I can testify Claritin causes intense carb craving which I indulged enough to gain about 7-8 pounds in fairly short order. Forget about serving size -- have a

Bleeding with HRT
I have recently gone back on decapeptyl injections after coming off of them for a few months. I had 4 injections last year but no HRT alongside them. I came off them because they really affected my mood and I bled heavy on them. I saw a different consultant a few weeks ago who suggested to have an MRI
