TTC how do you cope with period pain

Hi,

My partner and I are in our 2nd month trying for a baby. Both months have led to a period which is unbearable as I’m not on any progesterone. AF arrived this morning and I considered getting a 3am hot bath as the pain all in my back, tummy and thights was so bad. I was able to take my mefanamic acid and use hot hot water bottles. However, I can’t cope with this every month.
