Teeth and alendronic acid?
Hi,fellow sufferers. Hope I can pick your well informed brains here! I have osteopenia since taking steroids and I've not been taking AA as they upset my stomach and I felt I'd had enough meds to cope with. Now I'm nervous about the effect on my bones (or what's left of them) but am soon to have 3 teeth

Out of the Blue
Hi I’m new on here and I thought I tell my story. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis about four years ago, I had the usual difficulty with the diagnosis, at first they thought it was Lymphoma then they thought it was TB and eventually they came up with Sarcoidosis. I lost weight, had a severe cough, sweats

why is one leg withering with smaller weaker calf and thigh muscles? I met a retired doctor who has the same problem, but no answers.
The doc and I both have undergone MRI's and Electro Nerve tests, that seem to rule out pinched or otherwise greatly deteriorated nerves. My atrophied (withered) leg is very stiff i.e. has "contractures." I have tried taking alpha lipoic acid and other supplements that published studies indicate can

Acetylcholine Deficiency plays a big role in why people with ADHD have multiple troubling symptoms/tendencies.
As if lacking Dopamine, Serotonin, Norepinephrine, GABA etc. was not enough? As some of you on here have read and noticed, I am a strong supporter and user of helpful supplements to combat the negative side effects that come come with taking continued ADHD stimulant medication. I take a low dose stimulant

Anyone experiencing constipation while taking ursodiol?
Hello all. I've been newly diagnosed with PBC. I'm also dealing with breast cancer at the moment. I was put on 300mg ursodiol three times daily, & have been taking for 2 weeks. I was concerned I'd have intestinal issues taking this medication, but it's been the opposite. It's causing constipation instead

New to this
HI all, this is my first post here. Ive been going to my docs for a few months now thinking I had some food intolerances and had several blood tests and examinations etc. It wasn't until I kept a food diary I realised all my symptoms coincided with my period. I had another appointment yesterday and endometriosis

Restless legs, why worse at times?
At different times in my life, I've had restless legs, and insomnia caused by that. I would take a sleep aid, one not mentioned as being worse for rls. Right now, big issue. Six nights in a row. I'm in a remote location for three more weeks with no access to pharmacy. Besides stretching exercises, what

Alendronic acid
Is there a search facility on here....? When I first found this forum I seem to recall coming upon a discussion about alendronic acid. I'd like to read more about it or perhaps just get some advice. GP gave it me to start 4 weeks ago but before I took first dose I'd read the info on here and decided

So I have had a fabulous weekend, we went to visit a place called the Soca ( pronounced Sorsha) valley, it’s the most beautiful place I have ever seen! It’s famous for its emerald green river, it was just magnificent! I usually fall off the wagon at the weekend but we went for breakfast in the city and

Prolia side effects
Hello, I have been diagnosed with GCA for 6months and wrote a couple of weeks ago re alternatives to alendronate as I have suffered from GERD for 15 years and received lots of very helpful replies. I persuaded my GP to arrange a DEXA scan but will not get the result for a couple of weeks. My GP suggested
