Hematoma and Ruxolitinib
I am on Ruxolitinib and
aspirin
. I am also taking prescription iron tablets due to my haemaglobin being on the low side. My platelets and white cell count are the higher end of normal. In the past 3 days I have two hematomas in my hand out of nowhere.

Travel to Dubai and Prescription Medication
Nothing too controversial, Bisoprolol, Atorvastin,
Aspirin
& GTN spray for Heart related alongside Salamol and Soprobec for Asthma. I'm told by my GP surgery the right hand side of the prescription, naming the meds etc should be sufficient for this purpose?

Fet ultrasounds and checkup?
I started estradiol 2/day (6mg) and am also doing an immune protocol with 10mg prednisone and 150mg baby
aspirin
. They advised me to come in for an ultrasound at cd14 to check lining but that seems late...especially bc my cycles have been shorter lately. Should I be going in earlier?

Amla V Levothyroxine
I have also been put on statins and baby
aspirin
after a sensory stroke. Amla can apparently thin the blood and reduce LDL without the potential side effects. Has anyone here had any experience of Amla. Your replies greatly appreciated.

Angina
I was given spray and
Aspirin
to take to help. Saw the cardiologist today to be told I don't have angina and I'm to stop my meds straight away. She said it was sinus tachycardia.(fast heart rate causing the pain.) 🤷♀️ I've never heard of that.

Possible stroke ?
As far as I knew my GP moved me from
aspirin
to Clopidogrel due to my acid reflux. Anybody else had similar problems. I am also on Felodipine 75mg and just started statin.

Headaches + fatigue
I have been taking hydroxycarbamide +
aspirin
for the last 6 weeks and they have reduced these bouts, but not totally. I have a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow to access the extent of my MPN and how they will go forward with treatment.

Result of CT angiogram
They requested my doctor prescribe amlopidine and
aspirin
- so more medication! I'm not sure about the
aspirin
as I've had a stomach ulcer in the past and also bleed very easily. I've suffered with horrible nosebleeds off and on for years.

tomorrow morning I am having a angiography done of my carotid arteries.
I take hydroxurea and low dose
aspirin
for the platelet issue. Does not seem to be lowering them. The surgeon wanted me to take Plavix and my oncologist said for me to not take it( I agree 💯 percent) . I am not starting a drug that can give you a heart attack or stroke when you stop it.

precautions while on hydroxyurea
I have ET for last seven years, so far was only on
aspirin
. But recently my platelets elevated considerably and now dr. Put me on hydroxyurea ( two tablets ) daily. Can anyone guide what precautions should I take while taking this drug. I am getting lot of information online and getting paranoid.

Aspirin vs apixaban and other blood thinners
Has anyone here with atrial fibrillation been prescribed
aspirin
rather than other blood thinners like apixaban? I would rather take
aspirin
but my cardiologist prefers apixaban. It seems like there is research that goes both ways. My GP rolls his eyes and says opinion changes from year to year.

Question about aspirin.
I don't really understand ITP and why at a mild level it is even a consideration and what it means when I have petechiae, I am concerned about whether or not I should be taking the daily
aspirin
. Does anyone else have this issue?

Bad feeling after exercise on Clopidogrel
I have had stents fitted 6 months ago and are now on DAPT
Aspirin
, Clopidogrel, Atorvastatin. I get a really heavy in the body and light headed sensation after moderate exercise by increasing my heart rate by 40% for as little as 7 minute with 2 minute cool down.

Isosorbide mononitrate headache pain relief
I’ve tried
aspirin
and paracetamol, but they haven’t helped much. Just wondering whether it is worth contacting specialist or not. I have very limited energy and don’t want to put myself through the hassle of phone calls etc. if there is nothing available.
