Sugar and alcohol…?
We are overseas and I am only on
aspirin
. when we return the haematologist will begin me on Pegasus. I asked a friend who is a doc here if he would give me a pathology script to see how my bloods were going. The numbers had returned to the # when I was first diagnosed.

Rimegepant and Sumatriptan injections together?
I have a monthly Galcenezumab preventative injection and treat them acutely with a sumatriptan injection and soluable
aspirin
which I was recommended to take in a sugary fizzy drink (I use Lucozade). The effectiveness of this has diminished in that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Medicine for life
I know
aspirin
and statins are for life and I don’t mind to take all 6 for sake reducing the risk in future. Still curious if Anyone one on similar medication and managed to come out of them .

Exercise with mitral regurgitation
The medication is statins, blood pressure pills and
aspirin
. I have had a healthy diet since my first stroke. My question is exercise. I usually run 4-5 Miles three times a week ( a Papworth consultant put in my notes I ran 45 miles three times a week) .

Post stent weakness
It did not make much difference and I have been put onto Ranexa along with
aspirin
, clopidogrel, atorvastatin, bisoprolol, amlopidine, lansoprazole and finasteride. The Ranexa seems to have done the trick and the main angina symptom, burning chest sensation when walking, has dissipated.

hello I’m 58 and diagnosed with PV 8 years ago which was managed up to October 22 with
aspirin
and venesection. My platelets and white blood cells started shifting so my haem consultant put me on interferon which controlled my blood beautifully.

I have ET which is currently being treated with Pegasys and
Aspirin
. Am I classed as vulnerable? There is an option at work to have a special risk assessment if i am. I didnt ask my consultant and now wont see him till December. Thanks

Skin issues
I’m on perindopril, Bisoprolol,
aspirin
, Atarvostatin, lansoprazole and Amlodopine. I’ve suddenly developed what initially looked like patches of excema about the size of a thumbprint. These have noe joined together covering my abdomen, lower legs and back, soles of my feet and palms of my hands.

Where to begin……….
They wanted me to take Lanzoprazole when I was discharged but as I was not on
aspirin
I refused so I am literally taking the same medication as before my surgery. Not sure why this stomach issue has arisen but it is very uncomfortable.

Coming off Beta Blockers and Eplerenone?
I would want to stay on Lansoprazole,
Aspirin
, and Candesartan. I suspect that most of my twinges and niggles are due to those two culprits. I think Bisoprolol is making me too sluggish (i.e. while inactive).

at risk of APS
However, I do have to take
aspirin
for the rest of my life because I have high antibodies and my mum had this condition. I was wondering what symptoms of this disease can you or do you get?
