Confused by what’s happened (54)
I was discharged without a conversation about what to do now, just with amlodipine,
aspirin
and a GNT spray. I can’t get to speak to my GP until 25th… Thankfully I found the BHF website & the helpline. Jane was amazing & helped me feel normal.

Nosebleeds
I think the ticagrelor goes for one year, so I have 3 months to go, after which I will stay on
aspirin
for life. I am stuffing my nose with Vaseline in the hope of avoiding another horrible nosebleed... and we're cancelling our trip.

I'm not going nuts!
I was put on
aspirin
for my last pregnancy. I get a butterfly facial rash every now and then and awful headaches, for which I take herbal remedies. I asked for a copy of the bloods but they won't give them, saying they don't have them!!

Anyone had trouble taking their medication to Greece?
I'll be taking 6 (- but including
aspirin
and ferrous fumerate- which I guess I could leave out.) Not including my insulin and injection devices. The advice also says the medication should be taken packaged, which will be a bit of a nightmare.

Extreme headache and always feeling feverish. I don't think I can get my exam feeling like that
Only
aspirin
helps. But it doesn't eaae the pain in my neck. I feel like im dying and like cities that are not mom's city are hostile. You get eaten alive by brokers and mlm scheme recruiters and so. And I need reassurance.

Sudden rise of platelets with PV
A week ago, I posted that my platelets and WBC were suddenly rising while taking Hydroxy and
aspirin
. Today the platelet count was even higher, in just one week, and is now at 627. The doctor told me to increase the dose for now.

Which scan or test?
Very overweight, on blood pressure medication, statins,
aspirin
and spray under the tongue. Just lately they've been getting a lot of chest pain, using spray more and unable to walk far without getting breathless. Blood pressure medication has been increased but nothing else.

Managing ferritin levels with PV
I've been diagnosed with PV for just over 5 years now and my consultant has been managing my HCT levels with venesections and low dose
aspirin
during that time. My ferritin levels have only been checked about half a dozen times since I was diagnosed and currently sit at 5.8ug/L.

12 months post heart attack - medication review?
Consultant stated that Apixaban and Clopidogrel could be replaced with simple
aspirin
. I have requested a medication review with the GP practice and telephone call arranged with practice pharmacist - not seen a GP since the heart attack.
