Aspirin

Has anyone taken aspirin during their two week weight or maybe even prior to it? With my first round of IVF I remember reading a lot of stories of women taking aspirin as it’s a blood thinner and can decrease chances of miscarriage.

If platelets go up over a certain limit, is it advisable to stop taking aspirin? If so, what is that limit? Mine have gone up to 1200 and I’ve been told to increase my dose of hydroxy but stop taking aspirin.

I then read it is a natural blood thinner so be careful with aspirin. Anyone had any experience with this please

I have been suffering with mild heartburn from dispersible aspirin since I stopped taking lansoprazole. Some on here suggested taking (over the counter) coated aspirin to protect the stomach but I was wondering if it protects the heart in the same way as non coated/dispersible aspirin does.

To avoid the bubbles, I drink the aspirin at least an hour after I drop it in the glass of water. I have no GI issues with both aspirin types, so I cannot compare them in anything else.

Initially post op prescription included an aspirin a day ( told it would be for life) I was taken off the aspirin when prescribed Apixaban. I have asked Dr if I should be back on aspirin now, he thinks not. Has anyone experienced of this please, is anyone on an aspirin a day post AVR?
