Hi Just a question to ask now my platelets have gone into normal range,why do I need to keep taking aspirin daily, ? Thankyou

does anyone on here use gastric coated aspirin I have just read it not very efficient

Went to see a cardiologist for the first time yesterday and he would like me to go on a baby aspirin along with the warfarin I take ( 5 mgs per day) and said to ask my Hemotologist if that was okay..Just wondering how many others are taking a baby aspirin in conjunction with warfarin.

I skipped one Aspirin yesterday and the symptoms are seemed subsided. Are there any substitute for Aspirin which are not anticoagulants? I would be happy if you could share your experiences

.  ** For the FET, taking Aspirin, when did you stop taking it (which weeks of pregnancy)? or **If not stop taking Aspirin, continue taking it, did you lose more blood during labour? Aspirin can thinner the blood which means it can cause more bleeding if you have any wounds. 

OK first can anyone confirm that it is right to give an aspirin of 300 to 320mg to a person who is, or possibly is, having a heart attack if that person is already taking100mg daily aspirin.

I'm about to start my second IVF cycle with donor eggs after a failed cycle last month.I don't have periods so the only medication I have been prescribed are Progynova, Cyclogest and aspirin.

Hi, I have ET and I'm on low dose aspirin. My platelet count is steadily rising. Does anyone know what dose of turmeric I could take without affecting the aspirin? Many thanks.

low dose aspirin to replace eliquis after one year from PE

well we have been told by our dr,s etc, cant take these 2 med,s together, but in my case, since now my rheumy had an MRI done, and result showed "subacute stroke", he has prescribed 81 mgs of aspirin as protection and precaution for further stroke episode, going for catscan Monday on neck arteries ,

Over the last 6 years mine has been aspirin and venesections .

I need an anti-inflammatory and I am on aspirin so can only take tylenol/paracetamol normally. I am currently in America, does anyone know of any anti-inflammatory drugs I can take while on aspirin?

I am writing this post since I am a bit unsure whether I should put baby aspirin on hold or not, or halve the dose. Been receiving mixed advise from two doctors. Had nose bleeds on days 3,4,and 5 but not for a couple of days now.

curious how many people take this on an empty stomach. I have always taken after meals but told this is wrong.

hello My husband is taking aspirin as he said he was getting like a pressure like feeling in his forehead he thinks that the aspirin has helped with that. However there has been a couple of bruises appearing one on is leg and one on his arm.

I’ve just listened to the vlogcast with Alicia O’Sullivan and heard her say that aspirin is not required for ET just for PV. I was told that it was needed for ET to stop the platelets sticking together. Any thoughts please. Thanks Irene

Can this be from Aspirin or from body adapting to fasting? Anyone experienced this? Also have bleeding gums sometimes. Thx

(I have PV, temporarily untreated aside from aspirin and supplements for inflammation, etc.)
