Aspirin

If platelets go up over a certain limit, is it advisable to stop taking aspirin? If so, what is that limit? Mine have gone up to 1200 and I’ve been told to increase my dose of hydroxy but stop taking aspirin.

To avoid the bubbles, I drink the aspirin at least an hour after I drop it in the glass of water. I have no GI issues with both aspirin types, so I cannot compare them in anything else.

I just read that it better to take Aspirin at night? As anyone been told by their Doctors to do that?

what is the general consensus for taking aspirin as a preventative precaution?

Hi Everyone I had my annual combined Diabetes/Heart review with the nurse practitioner this week, and the first question she asked me was 'why are you taking both Clopidogrel & Aspirin as they both do the same thing, but Clopidogre does it better'.

Anyone had increased white blood cells in urine or blood (micro hematuria) in urine while on aspirin? RBC and platelets also low and wondering about querying the aspirin all round really. Seems an important med post HA but not sure if I shd expect to see all these changes.

My GP believes the aspirin caused the erosion. Did your haematology Dr prescribe you an alternative to aspirin? My platelet count remains around 500 so not very high in comparison to others.

Hi, I started 75mg of aspirin on day 2 of stim injections. My fresh transfer failed but I’ve continued with the aspirin which I probably don’t need. I’m not sure when my FET will be. For those who took aspirin for FET, when did you start? Thanks

however for these first 2 transfers I have not been taking aspirin. He hasn’t recommended it but everyone else I read about seems to be taking it. Should I be pushing for aspirin for the next transfer?

Unfortunately the grading is not great (day 6 4CB) but I’ve been reading a lot about aspirin and how it’s meant to help implantation. Any success stories?
