Aspirin

I’m only on progesterone and aspirin so can’t even blame the meds. Sorry if this sounds nuts, I feel like this forum is quite good at hearing other women out when they are having a wobble! I’ve tried mentioning to family but they think I’m overthinking. Thanks in advance :)

(Other sites mention heavy periods, which I've always had, but often link this to aspirin). Sometimes I worry it could be a symptom of another problem.

In the meantime he advised that I try two baby aspirin daily to break up any micro vascular clots. Since then I learned ACA IgM is related anemia more than clotting. Ended up switching back to HU daily also and stopping Rux after about 2 months as the Rux was making my legs feel very hot.

I had an ecg which my gp flagged up as indicating some problem with my heart. They even sent a paramedic to my home to check I was ok. I feel ok, sometimes a but breathless, occasionally dizzy, but better now I am taking statins and aspirin.Anyway, I made an appt with NHS cardiology. Earliest was next

Many supplements can thin blood, so for those on aspirin it could be additive. My Dr is ok with my taking curcumin, but I have noticed a minor change in bleeding. I'm curious if there is an actual test for this?

I'm taking baby aspirin for PV but want to take turmeric for it's anti-inflammatory properties. I've read that turmeric is also a blood thinner so wasn't sure if this may be too much & increase my risk for a brain bleed

I I inject with 90mg PegInterfron weekly (8 weeks in) and an aspirin daily. Wondering if worse due to the drugs or the condition (PV JAK2+) platelets down to 1200 now and red/white cells above normal but not too much so. Any tips on making them go away! I don't drink, smoke or drink coffee.

However, the silver lining has been that given my age (42) and medical history, I'm considered very low risk and am on daily baby aspirin, with follow ups with my wonderful MPN specialist every 4 months. I'm grateful to be feeling well.

I am currently on a fairly common combination of medication - Ticagrelor, Aspirin, Bisoprolol, Ramiprill, Atorvastatin and Lansoprazole.

I'm taking isosorbide mononitrate 20mg twice daily and put on atorvastation 80mg and 75mg aspirin. I was already taking propranolol for anxiety and lansoprazole for acid reflux.

GP given me aspirin and Bisoprolol beta blocker. He’s also given me a spray in case I get severe pain. I’ve never had a pain, just a tight uncomfortable feeling around my rib cage with shortness of breath which can last hours.

On regular medicine of statin rosuvastatin 40mg, bisoprol 2.5, ticagrelor 90 and aspirin. I was feeling well occassionally anxiety kicks in or hypersensitive issues. To start with I had normal HR, BP and weight..was quite fit usually cycling or hiking and football on weekend normal weight.

Last week I was in and e with chest pains as troponin went from 15 to 47 I was admitted and had angiogram on Monday I was told main arteries are clear and I have unstable angina!!! So on some new tablets propanalol and isosorbide mononitrate

He had 3 weeks of aspirin after first and has just been prescribed all same meds again! His BP was fine, cholesterol fine, carotid artery’s scan didn’t show anything significant and 72hr heart trace showed no AF.

The only way I could feel my hands again was by taking an aspirin while my sister called me so I could hear her voice. I ate as much as I could but I didn’t really even wanna look at him.

My regimen includes the medicines: Celecoxib, Atorvastin, Metformin, Sirolimus and low dose aspirin. ( I do not take doxycycline because of adverse effects on gut microbiome).
