Tezepelumab/Spirometry with Reversibility
Hi, hope everyone is managing well. I’m just looking to hear others experiences if possible. I’m quite complex and don’t show a high FeNO and spirometry is normal and my asthma is driven by neutrophils for inflammation. Best peak flow is 440, hovering around 220-350 - 220 is pre meds in the morning

saline with venesection
hi Just wondering if anyone else has had experiences of having saline drip when they have their venesections. My haematologist has suggested it as she wants to take a full unit this time to stabilise my red blood count. I usually only have half a unit as it takes me a four weeks to recover after

update
just wanted to share the latest. You remember when I last posted I was going to Dallas for an mri/mre after a different hepatologist did a fibroscan and said stage 4 fibrosis. My regular hepatologist was in disagreement and sent me to Dallas. Radiology report said possible early cirrhosis. Scared me

Possible IBS but GP doesn’t know for sure…..
Hi. I’m really stuck with what’s going on with my body and movements. At the end of March I had what I thought was a standard tummy bug, I didn’t think much of it. After 4 days of diarrhoea and not eating (even water was going through) I tried eating a plain piece of bread. Needless to say that didn’

Any tips pls ..? Dad's really tired of is cough - that's now a mix of dry (mainly) and some mucous
Hi, the mucous is not really coming out now. But the dry cough is new. The hospital checked for an infection (given the dry cough), but didn't spot anything which is a relief.
So, my question is really about how best to handle a cough that's dry , with just a little mucous ..?
He's using codeine

My experience with Eustachian tube fluid build up and solution.
I post here as some on this forum helped me discover a solution. It is my understanding that the problem was caused by the difficulty swallowing caused by B12 Deficiency. The Eustachian tube is closed the majority of the time. It opens in response to pressure changes including when swallowing. About

Nebuliser & Saline recommendations guidance (Bronchiectasis)
Hi, can anyone recommend a nebuliser, ideally one that's reasonably portable. I've been waiting for one for over 2yrs now so I've given up and will have to buy one myself. I understand I can use 0.9% hypertonic solution without concern? I've literally no idea how to use one, in terms of what to put

ALP and when to add 2nd line therapy
I was diagnosed Feb. 2022 ALP was 307. Started URSO right away. ALP went down quickly - In July 2022 it was 107 but October 2022 was 119 and April 2023 was 120. So my specialist wanted to add ocaliva. I convinced him to give it another 6 months before adding anything and he agreed. So I am praying

Alkaline phosphatase is 161
Pbc, they put me on ocaliva earlier this year along with urso, apparently I'm not responding to either, ..my alkaline phosphatase fluctuates from the 120s to 161 every test, is there anything I can do food wise or herbal to lower this? I hate pills lol

Dull red blotches at chemo infusion site
Hoping somebody has some experience with this and can help. Eric had his 3rd docetaxel chemo Friday, and for the first time ever, developed swelling above and below infusion site maybe an hour later, after we got home. He had started with a liter of saline to make sure he was fully hydrated (NP thought

Aquascan / Saline Scan - has anyone had this ?
After my latest BFN (4th transfer - DE) I’m starting to look in to things a little more before we have our final frozen embie transfer. I have read a bit about Aqua scan but wondered if anyone has had this and found results that hindered implantation? As Im going through a process of elimination I

Title: The Power of Salt Mouth Rinse: Safeguarding Your Heart Health
Hi, fellow forum members, I hope you're all doing well with your journey to manage your afib. Today, I wanted to share a simple yet impactful suggestion that could potentially benefit our overall heart health. It revolves around incorporating a salt mouth rinse into our daily routines. While this might

nebuliser recommendations?
I’m hoping to give nebulised saline a go and was wondering is there much difference in types of nebulisers? It would be for the low % saline as this hasn’t been prescribed by my consultant. Thought it may help to clear some much (chronic bronchitis) as I seem to be tied all the time lately- chest feel

Methylcobalamin in dry form from Oxford Biosciences
After buying the above I have now received the sterile saline solution from Germany - thank you Wedgwood for your advice! I have followed the instructions from Oxford Bio but would just like to clarify a couple of points. As I wrapped the foil around the vial the foil split so the vial was exposed

Glutathione Nebulization?
Has anyone experimented with glutathione nebulization? I’ve read that Laurie Mischley is doing it with clients. I tried it tonight using 100 MG of GSH powder dissolved in 1 tbs saline in my home nebulizer. I’m not sure about the dose or what kind of GSH to use. Or even if it’s a good idea? Looking at

Have you had a 3D SIS scan? How's it different to a saline infusion scan?
Sorry for the multiple posts this week Can anyone help answer this? I asked my clinic for a 3D SIS scan which they agreed to. But when they put my appointment details in writing, it said I had been booked in for a Saline Infusion Scan. I have been on the phone to them and they say these are 2 different
