Can I use Saline instead of salt walter to clean after circumcision

hi I am nearly 7 weeks in from circumcise operation I was told not to use salt water straight away as it dissolve the stitches too fast just put Vaseline on for a few days have a shower but don’t get it wet too much then just wash with shower head that’s what I did and it worked fine 👍
