I post here as some on this forum helped me discover a solution. It is my understanding that the problem was caused by the difficulty swallowing caused by B12 Deficiency.
The Eustachian tube is closed the majority of the time. It opens in response to pressure changes including when swallowing. About 4 years ago I was starting to experience what I now know was more acute symptoms of a lifetime of B12 deficiency. One of the symptoms was build up of fluid in my Eustachian tube. I was DX with chronic swimmers ear and I at the time did not now the typical methodology of the medical profession and its limitation.
With the help of those on this forum I figured out it was not chronic swimmers ear. Thank you so much. I experienced teeth ache which I now know was related to the fluid in my Eustachian tube. It seems to be resolving and if I can not resolve it I will know how to direct medical personnel. Thank you so much. The pain did get worse when B12 Deficiency symptoms got worse.
So I tried using "Otovent" which was suggested on the forum with some success. When I was tested for COVID I asked that my ear be checked and the nurse confirmed I had fluid in my Eustachian tube which had been missed many times. The nurse suggested saline nasal spray and that was key.
I now am working on relearning how to swallow now that I have more B12.
