Advices on a surrogacy matter!
Hi all! Have found your forum a wile ago. But decided to speak up only now. Hope someone can help me with some advice. My name is Melissa, I’m 45 years old, married, have no kids. You can possibly already see the problem here. We’ve waited for too long. My husband is a diplomat, all our married life

Accupunture
Hi ladies So I had my first accupunture session today and the lady has asked me to see her again before our third iui. However she also said the more sessions I get in before will help! I mean at 50 pounds per session I was hoping it would be a monthly thing than a daily thing! Just wondering how often

Sticky Blood & 5 Recurrent Miscarriages. Should I Give Up?
Greetings ladies, I am 31 this year, with a history of 4 consecutive miscarriages & another one that I am going through now (losing a twin pregnancy). I've been trying for years and fell pregnant 5 times with the assistance of IUI as I have PCOS. I've been in the dark all those years as I thought my

Treatment is about to start with Donor Eggs and Sperm
After waiting over 1.5 years and having 3 failed IUI attempts, I'm soon to be starting my treatment with Donor Eggs and Sperm. It took me a little while to get my head around this. Because it will be just me bringing my baby up (as I have no partner at the moment), I do worry financially about bringing

Progressing onto IUI at CRGW
Hello.... Our 3rd Clomid cycle has just failed.... We have 1 prescription left to try again but after that we are now thinking of progressing onto IUI at CRGW. Is there anyone who has been through IUI in general or specifically in CRGW in South Wales? Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks xx

Cancelled IUI due to too many follicles!
Hi Ladies. We decided to try IUI before taking the plunge with IVF. They put me on 50mg clomid for 5 days, and this morning I went it for the first scan which revealed at least 6 large follicles when they are only after max 2! The nurse said reduction would be a possibility which I was gearing myself

Hey, my husband and I have been trying since we got married 20 months ago. My period was clockwork every month until we went to the doctor about not conceiving. We are now looking at IUI or IVF (find out on 31st). My periods have been messed up since our first doctor appointment in December. I am

Hi all. Everytime Everytime we do a transfer - IUI or IVF, I always come on 5 days before my test date. Has this happened to others and did you/your clinic find a solution? Really appreciate anyone helps. I'm so lost x

Has anyone had any success with IUI?
Hello ladies. We are about to start our first IUI with clomid, and I was just wondering if anyone had a positive result with IUI? It seems that the success rate is really low, but I felt more comfortable trying this 'milder' approach first before going on to IVF...

BFP!!!!!
4 days early for official test date and we got this! We were dreading this day as everything went against us with this IUI cycle, we were told chances were under 10% so we are absolutely stunned at this this morning! If it can work for us with this it can work for others :-)

Earliest test date?
What's the earliest anyone has tested after an iui and gotten an accurate results? Today is day 9, official test day is not till day 16, but AF would be due before that. I'm thinking I'd rather try and test early at home with hubby and find out either way than go to loo in work and randomly find out

Waiting waiting waiting!
So we are on our 2 week wait following iui, wasn't done on best date so were told chances would be decreased from what they'd hope. Trying hard to keep occupied and not worry on every slight odd feeling but it's hard. Started getting slight discharge and cramping last couple days (sorry for tmi) which

Should I take a break?
My period started yesterday, today it's heavy enough to to know my first round of IUI is over. I think the clinic wants me to start my next cycle immediately but I was thinking about taking a month off. This weekend has been horrible, I'd really got my hopes up this time and I feel like I'm grieving.
