Donor eggs V Adoption?
I've had 3 rounds of IUI which sadly were all negative and at my clinic I've reached the age where I can't use my own eggs any more - that's actually rather emotional if I think about it. Anyway, it's now time to decide whether I go for Donor Eggs and Sperm or Adoption. It took a while to get my head

First IUI
Hey, this is my first day here and I'm going to begin my first round of IUI at the end of March. Just wondering if there was anything I could do to improve my chances. Also looking for a little support as after years of trying I'm having difficulty believing that anything will work.

weird people..
Hello, dear All! I've recently had an unpleasant talk with my neighbor. She was saying some silly things about that babies conceived through IVF WILL definitely have problems. I personally cannot stand such things and find them rather insulting as my own child is DE (I'm an endo sufferer with poor egg

So 14hrs travelling pulling/lifting a 30kg suitcase is not the way to get a bfp... or at least it didn't work for me. DH doesnt want to do it again & tbh im bruised inside (feel it putting utrogestan in) so I've had enough too.... DH has said he'll do iui with donor sperm so now working the costs out

IUI and chlomid
Hi all just wondering if there was anyone out there in a similar situation. I have been TTC for over a year now and had dye test done which showed my tubes are fine but had adhesion scars from previous op. Everything was looking good but I still didn't fall pregnant. This month is going to be my first

3rd round of treatment about to start
Had my baseline scan today to start my 3rd round of IUI. It's probably the last time that I will be able to use my own eggs which I'm finding very emotional and upsetting. I've looked into donor eggs and think I've got my head around it as much as I can. Just as I'm about to start my treatment, my

New to the game
Wow, found this when reading up on IVF. We have rec'd out letter to come in to met with the nurse and get an idea on timescales and what happens. Both myself and the hubby have unexplained infertility, we have had 3 rounds of IUI which was unsuccessful so after a long wait of 6 months for THE letter

IUI before IVF?
I'm pcos and have been trying for 2years. Had ovaries drilled (last June) and since then had regularish cycles and I know I've been ovulating. Everything else is fine, but not fallen pregnant yet. Consultant is close to putting me on IVF waiting list. I'm 35 in March too. I fancy giving IUI a go to

Starting at last!
We finally have our start date, 11th March, they want us to try IUI first, all consent forms signed, can anyone tell me what will happen at next appointment, will anything happen or is it just another planning appointment. Was overwhelmed that we finally got here and didn't ask anything before we left

Slow letters to GPs
Why is it that consultants secretaries take so long to send letters to GPs? I know from experience that it does take a while usually about 3 weeks for the letters to be typed and forwarded to GPs but 5 weeks on and I am still waiting for my GP to get a letter from my Scleroderma specialist, to the extent

Trying to work out Plan B
I've got a final attempt at IUI around February time which just seems ages off. I've had 2 failed attempts already which is heartbreaking and so for the 3rd I thought I would give my body time to recover by waiting an extra month. But what happens after that attempt, the way I see it, I can either

Endrometrios and pregancy
Hi I am writing here because I'm frustrated and confused! I was diagnosed with endrometrios back in 2012 and had a laptropic surgery to remove 2 cysts removed each of my ovaries. Now fast forward 2015 I had a lapcroscopy last month to remove adhesions and have a dye test because I have been trying to
