artificial
insemination
at home, using a sperm donor. We tried for about a year and half and then stopped for a while due to it being quite an emotional rollercoaster, so put it to the back of our minds for another year.

So after I initially tried first with the AI at home method, for approx 8 months, we then decided that my partner should try - she was also trying via
artificial
insemination
at home too, using a sperm donor.

Time to try IVF?
Hello everyone I am 35 years old (turning 36 next month). My husband and I have been trying naturally for 8 months. We tried IUI in July and this month but it didn't work. My AMH is low (3 pmol/L) and latest FSH is 8 (though it was 23 three months ago in June, apparently it is normal for FSH to fluctuate

HSG tube check before IUI?
Hello everyone, While I am waiting for the first IVF appointment, I cannot stop thinking, that I never checked tubes before IUI, and that could be also a reason for failures. I wonder if anyone who has gone through IUI did a tube checking before a procedure? I am horrified on reading how painful

Advice need for moving on from infertility
My husband and I have been TTC for two and a half years. We already have a little boy , which I am very thankful for . We are both 42 and I think it's just a case of my age and low egg count. We had all the meds for IVF but unfortunately they didn't make any difference so we went for iui instead . This

NHS IUI funding and BMI
Hello, we’ve been referred by our gp to a clinic in Lincoln for IUI because of male infertility. I’ve read on the NHS website that they only do IUI for certain BMI ranges. I’m just in the “overweight” range. Does anyone know if I have to be in the “healthy” bmi to go ahead with IUI on the NHS?

I’m hoping to hear from anyone whose had an IUI whose in a similar age range as me. Polyps and IUI
At my baseline scan last week a 3mm polyp was found on my lining, it wasn't there on my first round of IUI, which resulted in a BFN, but has appeared this time round. I am now in the difficult position of deciding whether to carry on with round two, due to surge tomorrow or Saturday, or to stop and investigate
