Complaint to the clinic
After having 3 rounds of IUI and then 1 round of donor eggs which all failed, I decided to write a complaint to my clinic in Southampton. Because of what I felt was 'false hope', I went for a round of donor eggs as it came across as if the odds were quite high for it to work. However the embryos were

Failed IUI cycle
Hi everyone. I am new to this so please bear with me. I have just experienced the most stressful 2ww and tested this morning following iui. It was negative. I feel totally crushed I just don't know what to do. My husband is trying to say all the right things but inside I know he is very sad too.

Failed cycle with donor eggs and sperm
After 2 months of treatment, medication and the emotional stress of it all, today was test day. I was absolutely dreading it and couldn't sleep, then the 3 minute wait and sadly it was another fail. I've had 4 rounds of treatment altogether, 3 with IUI using my own eggs and 1 with donor egg and sperm

IUI on NHS after ICSI? Is this an option?
Hi me again :) thank you so much to everyone for being the amazing people you are! I was wondering if anyone had IVF/ICSI treatment on the NHS & then afterwards had IUI on the NHS? I know this is kinda backwards & my GP doesn't think it will be an issue but she's written to my consultant to ask. Hoping

Things are looking up!
I posted on here a few days ago as my dad has pif and had declined dramatically over the last two weeks. He was admitted to hospital a week ago stuck in a cycle of coughing, shortness of breath and passing out. The hospital and his consultant were useless, he was discharged the following day and we

Trying for a baby
Hi everyone! My name is Monica, I am from South Carolina. I’m here for advice. Just a couple of years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had clomide with metformin. I went through 3 unsuccessful iui cycles and 4 of ivf. I was praying to eventually get pregnant on my last cycle but that didn’t happen,

Unexplained infertility- IUI or acupuncture
Hi. I'm looking for some insight from you wonderful ladies. I have unexplained fertility and was approved for IUI treatment last Sept. Before we were to start, I got pregnant naturally. Sadly, I had a miscarriage 8 weeks into my first natural pregnancy in December after 3 years of trying. I was upset

Scared to try again.
I'm going to the hospital tomorrow morning to start my second round of IUI and I'm terrified. I've put it off for 2 months and I can't delay any longer. I really shouldn't be delaying it at all as my time is limited but I'm not sure I can take another let down. Last cycle I managed to convince myself

Newbie... Endo, high NK cells, IVF, chemical pregnancies...
Hi, not really a question as such, but was just looking out for more ladies possibly also in a similar situation and introducing myself and my journey so far! Been TTC for 6 years. After two years we went to the fertility clinic, and did IUI, which failed, then moved onto IVF. At this point it was discovered

Accupunture
Hi ladies So I had my first accupunture session today and the lady has asked me to see her again before our third iui. However she also said the more sessions I get in before will help! I mean at 50 pounds per session I was hoping it would be a monthly thing than a daily thing! Just wondering how often

Treatment is about to start with Donor Eggs and Sperm
After waiting over 1.5 years and having 3 failed IUI attempts, I'm soon to be starting my treatment with Donor Eggs and Sperm. It took me a little while to get my head around this. Because it will be just me bringing my baby up (as I have no partner at the moment), I do worry financially about bringing

Progressing onto IUI at CRGW
Hello.... Our 3rd Clomid cycle has just failed.... We have 1 prescription left to try again but after that we are now thinking of progressing onto IUI at CRGW. Is there anyone who has been through IUI in general or specifically in CRGW in South Wales? Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks xx

Cancelled IUI due to too many follicles!
Hi Ladies. We decided to try IUI before taking the plunge with IVF. They put me on 50mg clomid for 5 days, and this morning I went it for the first scan which revealed at least 6 large follicles when they are only after max 2! The nurse said reduction would be a possibility which I was gearing myself
