Hi everyone, it's been a while since I was on here. I have whittled myself down to 3pg pred.and have been going along ok. I do however have a question and would really appreciate any advice.I have recently been working full out in my garden, re landscaping to make it easier to manage, and my shoulders

cool packs
I thought I’d share the fact that I have found great relief from the pain in my head from GCA using gel cool packs. This has helped me from having to use as many pain killers. Give it a try, it’s been a blessed relief and feels wonderful. Thanks

I'm getting quite bad pain in left knee and right forearm ordinary pain killers don't touch it it's very hard to get a face to face with a doc over here on the Isle of Wight. I haven't had one since last October all it seems to be is phone calls and even then I have to wait up to a fortnight! What pain

psoriasis: how did it start?
I have psoriatic arthritis and have suddenly, in one night, acquired a red rash on both ankles. My rash is bright red blotches. Does this sound like psoriasis?

Carbimazole & Antithyroid arthritis
Hello, I’m a 33 year old woman, I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid around 2months ago, was put on 15mg carbimazole a day. Started with a painful mouth ulcer so stopped medication & waited to see my consultant for advice as I didn’t know how bad the mouth ulcer had to be, he advised me to go back

Sent back my pip review form Tuesday. Since my initial claim I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Let’s hope it all goes well, it’s a stressful wait.

Can anyone explain about soy please
Can someone please explain if it is fermented or unfermented soy that is ok to eat if you have an underactive thyroid. I have to make adjustments to what I eat and have been looking at tofu and tempeh but am not sure if they are ok to eat. Apologies I am a bit forgetful at the moment after long surgery

So much pelvic pain, any advice?
Hi All, I've been having pelvic pain on and off for many years, but lived fine with it before. However, in the last 5 months, it's gotten worst and in the last few weeks, it's gotten even worst again. I've already done: * All types of gynae assessments from a scan, to PAP and other tests, to

PMR or arthritis
Hi all, I have arthritis in my hip awaiting hip replacement however I’m taking 6.5 of Pred. I have really bad pains/stiffness in that leg from top to bottom of my shin which the Dr has put me on gabapentin which so fat (3+ weeks) has not made any difference. Could this be a PMR flare or is it the nerve
