yes everyday in fact now I am older the stiffness stays with me unfortunatley, but I do have a botched ankle replacement that affects my gait so Im all twisted and limpy and jarred plus prolapsed discs so that doesnt help .. Its muscles and bones hurt all time xhope you improve take care x
Since putting my back out in December it takes me anything from 2-4 hours in the morning to feel human. I find warmth helps. Hot baths and i'm still doing stretches physio gave me which have helped but even they are to painful to do until afternoon/evenings.
Had a scan last week so should have answers one way or another by late April early May.
Hi LuckyladyEvery morning when I wake up, all of my joints are stiff and sometimes I can hardly walk. If I have to go downstairs straight away to sort out the dog, I am really slow and have to walk down sideways. I have found that this stiffness can last from 20 minutes to a couple of hours. It is also the same if I sit down for too long or sitting in the car for a journey longer than 20 minutes. Twice a week I go swimming in the morning - today I was swimming for 20 minutes before my joints felt relaxed. This stiffness is at odds with my general state of fitness, which is quite good: I also run twice a week - about 3 miles each time - and sometimes I don't feel right until I have run at least a mile - it's all very strange! I think this is all part of my fibromyalgia although I do have osteoarthritis as well. 😁
