psoriasis: how did it start?

I have psoriatic arthritis and have suddenly, in one night, acquired a red rash on both ankles. My rash is bright red blotches. Does this sound like psoriasis?

It could be almost anything! It is very difficult to diagnose rashes from verbal descriptions. Seeing a health professional in person is best.

I don’t have psoriasis but…for about the past 20 months ,on and off, I’ve come out on a red blotchy raised rash. It wasn’t itchy but extensive especially arms chest and initially my back. It would last for about a month and slowly fade to purple.

This year I’ve had it three times but it’s becoming itchy, less raised and not as extensive.

The doctors have no idea, ive had biopsies twice first inconclusive.

I have RA am on treatment, initially they thought it was Covid but there is no pattern
