PIP review

Sent back my pip review form Tuesday. Since my initial claim I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Let’s hope it all goes well, it’s a stressful wait.

I had an appeal for the original claim. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Thank you. Caroline

Hi,

Don’t expect a fast response from them. I did my review and it took 18 months to get and assessment. (That was a telephone assessment)

Then a further month for the decision to come back. It was good news in the end as got a higher reward.

Just warning you of the timescale.

They do continue to pay you during this period.

My review assessment is next Thursday! The Form was received by them on 13th July so 11 months. My claim was extended before the award end date. Based on Nelly1s post it looks like they are catching up! Good luck 🤗

just for information, you could contact DWP and make sure your review pack has been received and being processed at least then you know it’s in their system.

Hi I had a text message last Wednesday to say they have received it, so all good at the moment.
