Morphine Dosage?
My 72 year old mother has finally been put on morphine patches after 30 years of unbearable
pain
due to
arthritis
osteoporosis of the spine and recently, 6 spinal fractures. She was started off on 5mg for two weeks, then 10mg and now 15mg. It's still not touching the pain.

painkillers
Hi everyone hope you are all having a good day today . I have had fibromyalgia for many years and have been on so very many painkillers, and as we all know they all come with their own side effects . So has anyone tried alternatives and if so which and how did you get on ? It’s just after having these

Angiogram
Hi, I had an angiogram about 18 months ago after having a heart attack. The procedure was horrendous as I wasn’t sedated. The catheter didn’t work through my right wrist artery as my artery was too narrow and they put a clamp on my wrist to stop the bleeding. They put the catheter through an artery

Autoimmune Registry
I didn't know there was an Autoimmune Registry. However polymyalgia rheumatica is not found through their opening page search although it is on the list as a vascular disease, as is giant cell arteritis. Maybe their search function is as useful as HU's (used to be)? :D Or maybe they just haven't got

Pharmacist denied medication
Hesitant to post this. Opinions run strong on subject. My regular (+1yr) pharmacist called to tell me she was denying my regular pain med fill due to increased usage of thc. Shocked. She advised me to find another pharmacy that sells both THC and pain medication (doesn’t exist) and talk to my doctor.

RLS journey- question of pain…
Hi Survivors Very quick question from me: Currently upped my Pregabalin to 100mg and so far so good. As I’ve said in previous posts, it isn’t a silver bullet but it’s helping. Insomnia is harder to kick to the curb but I’ve noticed that I’m not waking with jumpy legs but with random pain. This could

Any Herbal Remedies for Dystonia

ibuptofen?
I am about 10 weeks post aortic valve replacement. Prior to learning I had aortic valve stenosis earlier this year I always regarded ibuprofen as a superior pain killer to paracetamol. Tiredness - can anyone suggest ways to help with tiredness caused by rheumatoid arthritis?
My drugs are controlling the inflamation caused by RA, but I am still very tired, not able to do the amount I used to do. Any ideas other than pacing myself? Any good vitamins etc? thanks
