Rib pain after breathing test
On 22nd I took respiratory test. Ribs in area of LUNG SURGERY in 2019 are very painful upon effort; front, side, and back. I'm taking tylenol and rubbing creams with little improvement. Any one experience this after test?

Joint Steroid Injection
Hi,Im due to have a Steroid Injection in my knee to hopefully relieve the symptoms of Osteoarthritis. Which is very painful most of the time, and can be very debilitating. Just Wondering if anyone has had this done and knows how long it lasts before wearing off? Do they work? Are they worth having done

Hello - I'm a new member
Hello, I've just joined today and wanted to say hello. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis around 26 years ago, and it's been quite a journey. I've been on numerous treatments over the years, and had several surgeries. Fortunately, I've managed to keep working - although it's becoming more

QUICK TAPER; CRP RISING STEADILY; FLARING
As suspected, the very quick taper rheumy thought up (2.5 mg per week til I get to 10, then reducing 1 mg per month), has caused a flare and I'm in pre-PMR pain - almost). Currently at 12 mg but should be down to 9 by now, if I was to go with her guidelines. GP refuses to let me up the pred saying "it's

Polymyalgia Rheumatica/ Giant Cell

. MGUS. So, one sick puppy. Put on CPap/Apap back in January of 2023. It has been total hell since it started. Been through 10 different masks. They all leak. They all cause headaches.

New diagnosis
Hi there, I got I'll from glandular fever in my late teens and have been given different diagnosis over the years and now I have been told I have rheumatoid arthritis. I'm hopefully going to start sulfasalazine and just wondered has this been successful for people? I've been so fatigued for so long,

Exercises and do they work
I have just started to get the leg pains especially when walking. I have posted before and had some lovely response. I just wanted to ask if exercises do actually help with pain. I have been doing the group of core, hip and pelvis exercises given to me by physio. Three weeks now and not missed one

Pericardial effusion
I had taken Prednisone for about three and a half years for PMR and stopped about four months ago. In December a follow up CT scan for something else showed fluid in the pericardial sac. One of the causes listed for this to occur is an auto immune condition. I have never seen anyone on this forum speak
