had a problem with chest pain and breathless ness did all the checks and could find out where it came from. Wondered if this was another by product of rheumatoid arthritis?

Like Spanelmad I had those symptoms and the GP did ECG and D-dimer test. The latter was only 0.02 outside normal range but I was put straight onto Apixaban, sent to hospital and diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolism the next day! Do make sure you get properly tested please 🙏
I had all the tests and they didn’t know what it was and sent me home. Bit worried not knowing but they did test for that . Tried to get in to see gp but that’s a lost cause. Thank you for your reply.
when first diagnosed had a lot of breathlessness. Went thro the tests and eventually my GP did an asthma test. This showed low level. Worth getting checked but have you spoken To RA team maybe to discuss.
Have you had a cold or chest infection ? Or do you suffer from hay fever? The pollen's been quite high and I've been suffering. I also have mild asthma, so it might be worth asking about that.
