First Caelyx went smoothly
They did the stuff over 2 hours to make sure there wasn't any problems, but I guessed they weren't expecting it to be too bad as there wasn't any
antihistamines
in the pre chemo bundle.

PUPPP / PEP / itchy rash
I didn't want to take Loratidine or Cetirizine (
antihistamines
) as apparently there has not been a lot of research into their effect on pregnant women/ the baby, however they are seen to be relatively safe according to NICE, so I tried them last night, but they didn't help.

intense itchy rash
I've got an intensely itchy rash on my hands and forearms. I saw the GP on Tuesday who prescribed an antihistamine (no relief) was sent to have a blood test too. Saw another GP today as the itchiness is driving me insane- blood results back which showed I have a high WBC count. Giving 2 different creams

Has anybody here developed an allergy to rice, or cross-sensitivity to it since going GF and eating all that extra rice?
I am to be tested for a true allergy but can't until I've been off my
antihistamines
(for seasonal allergies) for at least 30 days. Doctor has said if it a sensitivity it will not show up on tests & we will need to rely on a detailed food log.

Pityriasis Rosea - making it manageable
I have just been diagnosed with Pityriasis Rosea and aside from
Antihistamines
for the itching they say there isn’t much they can do, what have others done to help manage it and how bad can it get?

Does anyone take antihistamines
I have become sensitive to all sorts of things. Mainly perfumes and believe it or not Toothpaste. I am going to the theatre on Weds. and wondered if it would be better to take them for a few days before to get a build up or as I usually do when I go to the hairdresser just take the one. One is slightly

My GP prescribed this for me a few months ago, it's very good so wanted to recommend it for anxiety. It's normally prescribed as an antihistamine but also used in the treatment of anxiety too. Helps with sleep too which is always an added bonus!

Newbie Allergy post.
Doctor has put me on high
antihistamines
..but they don't seem to help as it happens. Doctors have said the Clinical immunology dept will contact me some time. But doesn't seem overly concerned.

Not quite sure...
I take doctor prescribed
antihistamines
for it but I think I need stronger tablets, they don't do much any more. It's small things like that that can make me want to end my life, I get a sniffle and that's it...
