saw my Haemo this morning & she said to stop HU weekends ( currently in 1,000 sat & sun) She also mentioned about possibly trying the medication beginning with R which I think must be ruxulontib - sorry don’t know spelling. but she said not yet approved for ET and she’d have to get die isl permission

I seem to be able to find articles that say antihistamines are both good and bad...I've noticed when taking cetirizine for my hayfever that I get less "restless legs". Any further info?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge/experience/comments around the use of antihistamines in the treatment of PMR. I did read on a post that someone takes a daily antihistamine along with other meds. I have done a little reading online ( not too far down the rabbit hole!!)

It seems, having looked about Google, that newer antihistamines do not have the connection with Dementia but they seem to be non drowsy. Does anyone know if there is a drowsy one that won't possibly increase dementia in later life? Thanks

How long do I have to wait, after levo, to take antihistamines? I had been taking them in the afternoon without an issue, but in these last 2-3 weeks that is too long to wait.

My question: do nasal antihistamines affect RLS sufferers the same as oral antihistamines?

I take antihistamines all year round for sinus issues. I’m also using up an unopened bottle of Starpowa gut bacteria probiotics, but I’m a good two weeks in of them. Could it be a combination of the two ? Any advice?

De Novo Gleason 9 plus 16 bone Mets diagnosed August 2022 at age 78. Commenced quarterly goserelin injections and PSA became unmeasurable. Side effects fatigue plus hot flushes roughly hourly day and night plus increased night urination. GP prescribed antihistamine which we agreed on as 10 mg Cetirizine

hi 👋🏻 think I need some antihistamines to help my ETD. I’ve been using Sudafed last 2 days because the steroid nasal sprays seem to make my ears sore. I know you can only use them for a few days though. I can literally feel the swelling reducing and then swelling up again.

My understanding is antihistamines can affect eye pressures. I am nervous if putting anything in my eye.

I've tried allsorts, including strong antihistamines and mild steroid cream, to ease the itch and calm the redness. I've now found that Arnica cream is the only thing that works and I also think the skin returns to it's normal colour more quickly too.
