Fexofenadine Side Effects

I had to leave it until last night to take the Fexofenadine so as to minimise mixing the two antihistamines. I also take Fostair inhaler and Dymista nasal spray, and my asthma seems well controlled on this. Thanks!

Antihistamines during 2WW?

Hiya, I’ve googled whether antihistamines during pregnancy are ok and it seems pretty vague. A lot of “it seems to be ok” which isn’t too reassuring 😕 I’ve emailed my clinic but in the meantime… Has anyone been given a definite yay or nay to taking allergy pills during their 2WW? Xx

Itching/hives with Lupus?

I've tried H1 antihistamines (allergies/zyrtec) and upping the dosage but it doesn't seem to help enough! The itching is all over and the hives can last for minutes and some larger ones last for up to a week! (which I have heard is a sign it's an autoimmune hive??)

My First Shopping Trip

Antihistamines seem to be keeping my hay fever at bay (never had it before now!!) The last puzzle is to get my legs working, muscles are still quite weak, despite exercise.

Week 5 run 1

That and antihistamines... Beautiful day tho and good to be out. A slow 4k done. Had to take a photo as I went past my hives. Lovely to see 'The Girls ' (no boys till later, the girls kick them put in the autumn) coming and going. Happy running vrbs.

Chronic itchiness

has resulted in a prescription for antihistamines and a cream. I have read that antihistamines are not effective in treating 'kidney itch' and with a young child who suffers with eczema I must so far have tried every cream known to man.

What’s going on with my Skin?

i was told I had an allergic reaction to something which I don’t know what it could be by doctor at the hospital and told to take Antihistamines. I have been taking 4 tablets a day for three days now but my skin hasn’t improved that much on my arms and back where it is.

Animal Allergy Medication

I am badly affected and am considering taking Antihistamines or similar prior to coming into contact (Christmas etc will be a problem). Any recommendations for pet allergy Antihistamines or similar? Not coming into contact is not an option, though I know that it makes sense!

Two types of drugs you may want to avoid for the sake of your brain: Anticholinergic drugs and Benzodiazepines

The strongest anticholinergic drugs include some antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, medications to control overactive bladder, and sleeping pills. Benzodiazepines boost another neurotransmitter's effectiveness.

IBS and antihistamines

Sometime back I read that antihistamines can help with the pain and sure enough during hay fever season whilst I was taking my over the counter antihistamines my IBS was better. At the end of the hay fever season I stopped taking my antihistamines and things got worse.

Carbimazole and itch

I’ve been taking antihistamines which help a little but I’m waking during the night scratching. I’ve looked online and this seems to be a side effect. Should I continue taking carbimazole?

Intense itchy skin

For about 2 months I have suddenly started to have the most intense itchy skin all over my body, from my feet all the way up to my scalp. ( no rash) I have to take antihistamines every 3 days. It seems to be a pattern, I take the antihestamine and it works wonders, then 3 days later itis back!

Nasal sprays/antihistamines all year?

I take dymista now and am wondering how other people take their nasal sprays and antihistamines. Do you take it all year round, or just pollen season? If you stop, how do you know when to stop?
