So far..
After a few days the rash went down with the help of some
antihistamines
. The second treatment she has been coping well (more grogginess days 1-5) on Day 10 again, she awoke with pins and needles in her arm but that went after 15 minutes. Has anyone experienced similar, more so the rash?

Skin rash
I've tried
antihistamines
and changed to a sensitive skincare range but nothing helps. I've even tried putting nothing on my face for several days. My GP gave me the
antihistamines
but made no reference to Pred. I'm at 5mgs now after 13 months of PMR.

Any Advice, chemical sensitivity

I will be asking doctor to increase to 50mg, happy to start very slowly as I have been known not to tolerate

Itchy skin
Just been having a look around the internet, my anti histamines don't seem to be reducing the itch much at the moment and have found this: Oral
antihistamines
. Your doctor may recommend anti-allergy medications to ease your itch.

POST NASAL DRIP - what is it ?
Antihistamines
and decongestants can help with postnasal drip caused by sinusitis and viral infections. They can also be effective, along with steroid medications or nasal sprays, for postnasal drip caused by allergies.

Itchy bumps
Have tried course of steroids which worked for a short time and then problem returned -
antihistamines
are ineffective as are topical steroids which provide momentary relief. Would appreciate any input as to any effective treatments or duration of problem.

MTX and the ongoing saga
Ok so the ants, itching and burning skin have not subsided even with
antihistamines
and now my feet are swelling up like balloons, can only show my left as the other is in a moon boot. Haven't heard back from the rheumy, they said they would call back but no call.

He has advised me to take
antihistamines
and drop MTX back down to 10mg. Hoping this helps the itchies as it was a killer at work today wriggling and scratching all day long.

Hi, I've tried searching old posts on this since 2am without success ... I'm hypothyroid and have come down with a head cold - my first since being diagnosed and taking thyroid meds. Over the last 24 hours have started to get itchy - initially it was my face and eyes and now it's everywhere. I've been

Asthma cough, advice needed please
The symptoms of breathlessness have been controlled with
antihistamines
and nasal sprays as the problems were partly down to allergies. Physio also helped me to improve my posture, recognise tension and to actually remember to breathe which I tend to do less when I concentrate.

Smell sensitivity and what to do about it?
Does anybody have experience with similar problems and treating it with
antihistamines
or anything else? From reading I know that hashis sometimes develop such reaction and it might have most to do with adrenals or liver detoxification problems.
