UP and food intolerances
Hey guys, I have UP and have recently been experiencing periods of fatigue particularly in the early afternoon and evening. I’ve never had any known allergies but I’m wondering whether high histamine foods might be triggering my mast cells and this could be related to the fatigue. Has anyone else had

Severe allergic reaction to levothyroxine
All the advice they give is to take
antihistamines
with my levo. The pharmacy said they could give me liquid levo. But the cost is prohibitive. All the information from NHS website says to stop taking Levothyroxine if you have an allergic reaction, as does the leaflet with the levo.

Mystery swelling
Antihistamines
do not help either. I just don’t know what is going on with my body or where to start or who to even ask to see for this. I had thought it could be an allergy but there’s no contact rash or hives just internal swelling and all the time it seems.

Should You Get the COVID-19 Vaccine If You Have a History of Allergic Reactions to Infused or Injectable Medications?
The CDC recommends against this because
antihistamines
do not prevent anaphylaxis, and their use may mask “cutaneous” (skin) symptoms, which could lead to a delay in the diagnosis and management of anaphylaxis.

Progressive asthma?
I am currently on Fostair 20/6 taking about 4puffs twice a day plus
antihistamines
. I have filled in an asthma review online this year and waiting to hear back. I am not sure what to do as my asthma seems to get worse and worse as I get older irregardless of what I do to try and control it.

Unusual symptoms -- could this be mast cell?
They've tried medications (
antihistamines
, quercetin, Singulair, etc) and that helps the allergy-related symptoms, but they don't affect the "adrenaline" related symptoms, and even makes the "adrenaline" worse. Is this typical of mast cell disorders?

RLS and Azelastine HCL nose spray
Suddenly I started getting RLS, even on low dose Methadone. I am thinking it is the Azelastine as it is an antihistamine, but I cannot find any literature on it. The only other thing that changed was a slight reduction in Lithium. I don't have any discontinuation symptoms, so I don't think it is that

TMEPgirl looking for management advice
I was prescribed
antihistamines
and hydrocortisone cream, and advised to avoid high histamine / histamine liberating substances where possible. I'm not sure either have made much difference, in fact if anything the rash has gradually worsened over the years.

STEROID LENGHT
Hi All, just looking for some advise and other people’s experiences. I was diagnosed with asthma in January 2019 at at 54 after a bout of pneumonia. I’ve managed it very well over the past 2 years using antihistamine, Relvar Elipta and Montelukast. I became so well that I stopped taking the montelukast

A skin rash
I am taking
antihistamines
and trying a cream the doctor gave for dry skin and they haven’t been working. I had an IUD fitted about 6 weeks ago could that be causing the rash? I also had tonsillitis about 3 weeks ago could it be a viral rash? The photo is a picture of the rash

🌲 🤧 Pollen puffed out run 🙄
Now home, I have rooted out the remnants of last years medication and started my regimen of
antihistamines
and nasal spray in the hope that my allergy is a little more controlled for my next outing. In the end I managed a 3.6k run.

Meds, chocolate and migraines
I’m kicking myself... I’ve always been a chocoholic, so in my 30’s (pre RA), I munched away merrily on chocolate, I suffered awful headaches really, really bad ones and they’d last for days, weeks even. I also had hay fever, so put these headaches down to allergic rhinitis. Took antihistamine and paracetamol
