Hey everybody. I could use some advice.
I just realized something both amazing and shocking that I have been through. It's a long story. I will try to sum it up. I believe I have been misdiagnosed. I recently had a genetic test and found out I have a gene mutation that can mimic bipolar disorder among other things. It is called the MTHFR

Catastrophyzing
I've been suffering from a severe antidepressant withdrawal for years. It affected my brain so badly. I think I'm a lot better now but I'm still not ok. It's terribly hard to live like this. I tend to be catastrophizing that makes me more fearful.

Life after a negative lap
Haven't been active on here for a while but thought I'd offer an update, maybe this might be helpful to anyone who has a laparoscopy that finds nothing. Had my lap in September and felt absolutely awful when they told me they didn't find any endo. I felt like if they couldn't identify the problem, it

I started antidepressants
So I’ve started 50mg of Zoloft and it’s really wild how much of a difference I feel. I feel like I finally have access to my brain again and like I have control of myself again. I was absolutely terrified at first but I’m really proud of myself for pushing through the fear and choosing to advocate for

Bad reaction to antidepressants
Diagnosed recently ,worst thing is anxiety. Was prescribed Sertraline but after only two tablets had terrible bladder and rectum pain so had to stop.I can't take Mirtazipine as they made me lose control of right side of body. Would really like a CBD with small amount of THC. I am in the Uk and know

I tried
antidepressants
when I was younger, but the side effects were so awful that it scared me from ever trying them again. I'm just trying to find somewhere I can talk to people who know what I'm going through.

Tablet time
I have been taking my tablets in the morning before going to work, sometimes I forget. What are people's thoughts about taking them in the evening. I also take two others cholesterol and an antidepressant.

PMDD?? Long post please bear with me
I was able to halve my
antidepressants
without any side effects. It’s been a few months since the miscarriage and I’m feeling like I’ve come to terms with what happened now and I’m seeing a therapist who specialises in trauma. But every month, around a week before my period, I start to feel insane.

Medication
I’m on liquid fluoxetine(prozac) for a few things. But I’ve upped my dosage recently since it was no longer working. Every time I take it, it burns my throat. Has anyone got any advice or reasoning?

Life sentence
Does anyone else feel like depression and anxiety are life sentences. There are so many times I feel like I’m stuck with this. I feel as though I’m treatment resistant. I max out every antidepressant I get put on. They won’t give me stronger anxiety meds because of suicidal ideation. I hate having depression

Effects of increasing Mirtazapine dose?
I started on 15mg mirtazapine for depressive symptoms (of complex ptsd) just over a week ago, and I've been so anxious, to the point where I'm almost constantly dissociated, and instead of 4-6 hours of restful sleep, I now get closer to 8 hours but I wake up anxious several times in the night. However

Having a relapse 9 weeks post partum....
Hi guys, So I'm 9 weeks post partum and having a relapse. I have gone from 12.5 olanzapine to 20mg in two weeks, and my psychiatrist thinks I may need an additional mood stabilizer too, like an antidepressant I'm guessing. Anyone else relapsed and had additional meds introduced? I'm really scared to

Time to Take Action
I think it might be time to take action and demand that the Pharma companies provide small or micro dose versions of
antidepressants
to assist those who wish to stop taking the medicines or when switching medicines.
