Anyone developed a Pulmonary Embolism while stimming?
So I am just out of hospital after suffering severe hyper stimulation syndrome after my egg collection last week, which also left me with a PE and pleural effusion! Just wondered if anyone else had had this happen? I’m now on blood thinners for 4 months and when I have FET in the new year, will have

Miss Diagnosed?
I was diagnosed 5 years ago with APS. Positive on both tests 12 weeks apart. I was just tested again by a Hematologist 12 weeks apart and tested negative. So was I on blood thinners and Hydroxy for 5 years for nothing? I don’t what to think.

I started taking edoxaban 30mg 8 days ago and now I have a period. I am taking Evorel 50 patch and 1 pump if Lenzetto. Also Utrogestan vaginally every other night. Want to mange this thing!
I had catheter ablation for supraventricular Tachycardia in March and second one in June. Was told 2nd ablation would fix me, as the Electrophysiologist now knew what to do/where to ablate and would use special mapping equipment and higher powered catheters. He ablated SVT site and found a Flutter site

Leukaemia care/NHS antibody trial
Has anyone else seen the NHS antibody trial for cancer patients, it came in an email from leukaemia care I tried to sign up but two questions are Are you on blood thinners? Do you have any excess bleeding disorders like haemophilia? Both questions discount you from applying Shame as would have been

Today I saw a new TV commercial for Eliquis. Medication after HA & CABGx4
After my CABG in Nov 2020, I had a HA in June due to blockage of bypass. Artery that was bypassed and blocked is 55-75% stenosis. On top of the statins and asperine as a result of the CABG, I am now also on isosorbide-5-mononitrate and ranolazine, but not on clopidogrel or other blood thinners. My

Forced to stop Xeralto
Due to the rioting the pharmacies in my area do not have stocks of
anticoagulants
. I think I have read that you are worse off just stopping suddenly than if you had never been on the drug. Is this the case - I'm at a loss as to what to do!

Medscape summary interesting - What Doctors need to know re current NICE guidelines for AF - attached link below
Seems to echo what we have gleaned, how crucial
anticoagulants
are but also ablation to be considered in the first 2 years of paroxysmal AF. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/936639

Apixaban after ablation
Hi all just wondering what the general consensus is to how long after a hopefully successful ablation do you continue on the anticoagulant? Thanks

Just Been diagnosed with PAF. Advice please.
I have just been diagnosed with PAF & already have HFpEF. I’m going to start taking Edoxaban blood thinner & Nebivolol beta blocker. Is there anyone on this combination? Do I need to be monitored at a anticoagulant clinic or not? Still processing it all.

Blood Thinner
I have been taking blood thinner (Eliquis) for almost 3 years. I also have some musculoskeletal issues & want to take Turmeric. I have been told not to as Turmeric also acts as a blood thinner. Has anyone taken Turmeric alone as their blood thinner

Post ablation anticoagulant
I know you need to remain on
anticoagulants
for a period after an ablation. If successful has anyone come off
anticoagulants
permanently?

Edoxaban note.
Its only my observation but I thought it might help anyone on Edoxaban waiting for an op with femoral vein 'groin entry'. and possibly worried about post op bleeding. I had 4 of those ops last year while on 60mg Edoxaban as my normal anticoagulant. No bleeding post op, in any of the 4. Had to lie
