I have been taking blood thinner (Eliquis) for almost 3 years. I also have some musculoskeletal issues & want to take Turmeric. I have been told not to as Turmeric also acts as a blood thinner. Has anyone taken Turmeric alone as their blood thinner

Blood Thinner
Not a very good idea actually. There is no way of measuring its effect so you could either have excessive bleeding or be un protected.
I asked my pharmacist a couple of years ago the same thing and for ginger as well. He said what he calls the normal amounts you use in cooking or find in food, teabags etc is fine but not to take it medicinally for that very reason.
No turmeric, ginger and go easy on the garlic as well
Millions of subcontinentals probably take anticoags and these 3 ingredients will be eaten every day as standard ingredients in Indian cuisine. Here in France where garlic is standard and often munched raw in salads the docs never warn you not to eat too much garlic when on anticoags. Where do you live ?
U.S. My thought was to take turmeric for some arthritic issues as kidneys won't allow the motrin type meds
