knee pain post surgery
I am t my wits end. My husband has knee replacement surgery in Dec 2021. All was fine to start off with and he had a good range of movement. For the last 6-8 months he has been struggling with pain and movement. He can’t walk far and for long without pain relief. He has been back to see his consultant

Here is how I was instructed with re: to amiodarone
I was told to take amiodarone for a two-three week regime prior to my cardio version. I was instructed to stop once I had the procedure. Nobody tolerates amiodarone well. Every warning I read told of how "toxic" the medication is. It took the med, had the procedure, it corrected the AF (for now anyway

I have been in NSR since having an ablation 3 years ago but still on blood thinner. Is this the normal thing to do ? would love to stop taking it if not necessary , fewer medications the better as ever since started heart meds I experience body weakness

AF and statins
Hello.I’d appreciate some advice. Four years ago I had atrial flutter. I had cardioversion and was put on blood thinners and BP meds. In the last few months it has returned as PAF. My ECG watch goes red every other day for hours or days. It can come on its own or be triggered by exercise. When exercising

Hi, I am new to this forum and have enjoyed the informative comments by various members. I am a 71 year old female in the States diagnosed with PV in 2018. My journey started with a trip to the ER for atrial fibrillation. In 2007 I had a cardiac ablation for AF and had not had an incident for 11

Lansoprazole
Hi, I am into my third week of taking 2.5mg beta blockers and 60mg blood thinners. I have a hiatus hernia and on Lansoprazole. The blood thinners have aggravated my stomach and causing acid reflux so I have had to increase the Lansoprazole. Has anyone else suffered and did it get better? Also what

Newly diagnosed and don't know what to do.
My A Fib began with a mild, pulsating feeling in my throat and it promoted me to take a manual pulse reading. It was then that I noticed my heart skipped every 6th beat or so, then it stopped in less than a minute. My bpm was not more the 70.Since then, I have had an ECG and I was stunned when they said

Bruise/haematoma
Hi, just after a bit of advice please. I'm on dual blood thinners (aspirin and clopidogrel) and bruise very easily. I have a massive bruise on my calf (don't know how I did it either!) which I've had for 2 ½ weeks. The bruise is fading but I had a hard lump in the middle of it which isn't going down

What’s at the root of this awful anxiety?
I am experiencing intense anxiety, alongside insomnia. Last year, after a few months on T3, I eventually felt really well: best I’d felt for many years. Earlier this year the T3 was changed from Morningside tablets to Roma capsules. Slowly I went downhill. After a couple of months I had the T3 tablets

Has anyone started V-0 treatment recently with positive results?
I am due to start OBIMUTUZUMAB & VENETOCLAX it next week after Acalabrutinib caused afib and I am on it 1/2 dose with 1 beta blocker and blood thinner that cause stress and fatigue. I would like to be reassured as at the moment I am a nervous wreck. Thank you.
