Ureaplasma infection?

hello…has anyone ever had vagina swabs that turned up Ureaplasma but struggled to get rid of it.? I had surgery to removed fibroids last year and since then each vaginal swab has come back positive. I can’t start my FET until I test negative but none of the antibiotics have worked to get rid of it. I’m now due to start a dummy cycle with a biopsy too included to check for more info on the infection…but dreading another bout in hospital especially since I ended up in the hospital for a week after fibroids surgery! Is this common? Has anyone had this?

Sorry to hear about the ureaplasma infection. What antibiotics have you tried? Azithromycin, docycline and Roxthiromycine can get rid of it. Its a very hard bacteria to get rid of. You might need to take antibiotics for a longer time

Hiya thanks so much for replying. I have tried Azithromycin & clindamycin and also augmentin. Then I did two months with a microbiome herbalist (this was intense (it included supplements, herbs, pessaries everyday) have done it for around 7 weeks). The issue I’m getting now is it’s all affecting my gut. I’m so bloated all the time and I keep testing positive!😔😔😔 I planned to go for three months with the herbalist stuff but I’m honestly not sure I can carry on! It’s soo intense! It’s so discouraging! I just want it gone now!
