I’ve been given amoxicillin 3times a day 500mg . But I suffer from constipation and terrified it will hung me up . I panic take stuff . As got slow track bowel with scar tissue or adhesivions . Any advice would help.plus got osteoporosis and fracuted pelvis so very hard getting my bowel to work . So ended up with a chest infection,

When I took the same anti biotic it had the opposite effect. It may help to take pro biotic with antibiotics.

Thank you for the reply it only my second tablet and so far causing some bloating and cramps , but will take then and get some probiotic any recommendations ,

I think they are all more or less the same. I used to get yakult you can get from any supermarket. I was OK with that as it is gluten free and a reasonable price, but am currently trying alflorex made with IBS in mind but Very expensive and so far no difference. We are all different I can only say what works for me.

I will try yacult. Tried alifloraxs a few years ago but ever worked for me . But yacult I’ve got in so but it’s only one a day .so thanks for your help .
