amoxycillin interaction with T4+T3?

Just been prescribed a week’s amoxycillin for a chest infection (3 times a day)!😞 I take first T4/T3 of the day at 7am+following T3 at 2pm + final T3 at 8pm. I can change round the two T3s to fit in with antibiotics but how do I fit the amoxycillin in without affecting the T3+T4? Confused.com!!🤓

Doesn't seem to flag up any interactions so I suppose the best you can do is give as much space between them as possible 🤗

I did a little searching on the old net but there was nothing concrete to say there was/wasn't any issues. Had to sack off my supplements, other than D3/K2 spray as that would be mind boggling trying to fit those in!!! Will get back on track after antibiotics finished. Thankyou.

Best you can do I would think rather than over loading your system, lets hope it does the trick 🤗

Amoxicillin needs to be taken 3x a day so that should work out at around 8-hourly. I’d suggest that if you take your first dose at 8am (an hour after your T3+T4) the second one won’t be due until 4pm and the third at around midnight, both well away from your T3 doses at 2pm and 8pm. If you can take your T3/T4 a little earlier, say 6am, the rest won’t need adjusting at all and you’ll be following a correct protocol for the amoxicillin.

Thankyou. My alarm on for 6am for first T3/T4 but is 2hrs not needed before amoxicillin like supplements? Not had antibiotics for donkeys years!!
